It is a very frustrating game. Sure the illustrations are nice, but everything else makes the game not worth your time.
First of all is the horrible gacha system which gives you a random SSR on your 50th pull if you havent pulled an SSR 49 times. In almost every case, you will not get the banner featured SSR until the 150~200th pull but even this is not guranteed. Plus you will need to breakthrough that SSR to at least 4 star to make them somewhat useful (max is 7). Did you ever expect to see a new banner every week? It's true. Banners not just for units but also personal weapons, neolith etc. Next, the only existing gameplay is doing gacha, pushing a few buttons in order to watch your characters fight and the awkward puzzle minigame. Then there is the fact that the game is completely tailored for players to keep paying. This is because event rewards generally require for you to pull gacha. The more you pull, the more points you get for rewards etc. You can imagine the difference it makes as the difficulty of the game skyrockets. Anyway, it is hard to miss as every nook and cranny is filled with bundles and deals which you can spend on.
A shout out to new players. Do you like PVP vs other players that have been playing for several month and find it fun? Therefore, End game feels like an empty server. So in this case, Time does not balance the game experience. Only money does...
With all that said, it is worse that QooApp automatically binds your account to the game so you cannot make guest accounts.
Endless Purple and Blue heroes while pulling 1000 times.
How jolly.
Anyhow, it's definitely not for new players.
The game seems overly complicated and there's typically too much repetiton even at the start of the game. Once you get the hang of things, you move on to pushing a few buttons and basically having to wait a long time just to build a building or make troops.
Currently it took me 6hrs+ to build a building and then who knows how many hrs more just to have enough troops to beat a stage. I'm practically stuck in the storyline and haven't been able to beat the next stage on just my 2nd day of playing.
In the meantime, I did see alot of events with colorful banners. Unfortunately the current ones felt like they leaned heavily towards pay just to participate. So while you wait There isn't much content to do in game other than chat with other players and wait for the 6hr+ timer to reach zero.
If you like to push a few buttons and come back to the game the next day to continue where you left off, this game is for you. Unfortunately, your base might be burning when you return.
I feel a 4.5 out of 5.
Started playing super late so it feels like I missed on pulling ALL the best limited characters, noteworthy events(like colab and anniversary) and rewards. There also doesn't seem to be a huge emphasis on late player rewards either. Still, I feel I pulled nine 4.5~5 star travellers out of 120 pulls (0 tier0, 2 tier1, 2 tier2, 3 tier4 and 2 tier5) so game progression is going very well with minimal setbacks aside from not being able to beat content due to foes with cheap gimmicks even with average party level being close to max. Storywise, it's enjoyable but there aren't many happy scenes so you stop expecting any. Boss BGM is awesome. Graphics are great for in depth HD-2D but background lighting is a bit TOO BRIGHT in some areas. And updates seem slow as it is a single player game, but I hope they pick up the pace. One thing to note is that SQUARE ENIX support center fixed my issue in 2 days and I'm very satisfied.

1.3I got the wrong rewards for writing a review event.
Seems like a shady game.
