Arrowmancer

4.4

The game is fresh, with an interesting gameplay and concept. The graphics and presentation is minimalist, the music is good. While it might have some bug here and there, then dev is quite communicative and is willing to answer and fix things.

You should try it.

Another day, another gatcha. The story is the strong point of this game. It is well written (although still have a lot of typo and translation error in English). The gameplay is unique and fun to engage, but gets tedious after awhile. They do have auto with a slightly above average (still crappy) AI to help you, but no skip ticket, so you will still waste lots of battery. Game also have mode for hardcore players, and a casual can somewhat play through everything with ease (except that little event where they ask everyone to sacrifice your sanity. Thank god it gets better).
It is hard to raise a character to max. And there are a lot of character to choose from. However, the core gameplay actually limit your choice in character choosing, and makes you want to have dupes for a handful of useful characters, instead of using the new shiny characters they introduce every update.

It is a good time waster, and you can definitely play it as a f2p.

I am skeptical of those game that is made based in popular IP, but since I am a big fan of the original manga, I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised.

While the gameplay is nothing like a dragon quest game, it is engaging, getting 3 star for everything is challenging enough, and you can auto/skip stages if you want. While the stamina is horribly low at 1st, you get to increase the cap as you progress further in the story, and refill pot is a plenty, so does skip ticket. All heroes are free. You can either get them from story, or their own event. The gatcha is for equipment and skills. This is good, since the original have like 3 or 4 female characters. They will run out of those sooner or later.

Talking about the gatcha, it is not the best out there. while there is a pity system in place at 100 rolls, there is no guarantee you can get the featured item, at all. I end up with an account that (suspiciously) has no featured weapon after 10 4 stars, 8 of which are armour. The game at least try to compensate this by giving you 4 star weapons/armours farmable in event. they are not as good as gatcha 4 stars in term of stat, but you can easily max limit break them. The only problem is the premium skills that comes with gatcha weapon.

So far, I'm enjoying it, and hope for it to at least *cough* make it to anniversary....

This game is a typical Mmorpg, with a lot of things to do. The dev does a good job in designing the quest (lots of them, with many different types), the class system (enjoyable and fun), and the crafting system (really complicated). It looks beautiful and engaging, if you can swallow the fact that you need to grind 24/7.

However, as a fan of the original work, the feel of the game is too far removed from the book/manga. It just feel different, and can't give you the same excitement you have when reading and following the character in the book.

Also, game has too many cash shop options. So yeah, you can enjoy the game as a f2p, but definitely needs credit card to win.

다른 세계의 제왕

I have played since launch, and have reached quite high ingame. If you played, you must have heard of my name. So I guess I can give a more through out review than someone who just try it for a couple of minutes.

This game is a town building, and the main difference with other similar games is that you don't have to defend your town vs other players. Your opponent mostly is the monster in open world and dungeons. So no town expanding. Instead, you can focus on development, build a team, and fight other players in siege war and the arena.

I won't say Im a f2p. but I don't spend much ingame beside battle pass and some cheap offer in prestige. No gem brought at all .Still I managed to be one of the top player ingame right now. With full 5 star teams. So yeah, not that p2w.

Game is hard and confusing at first cause there is next to none tutorial. However, once you get a hang of things, building a team and trying heroes combo in the arena and vs npc is quite fun. The battle log is hilarious, especially with chaos involved.

The dev is small, but they do listen and actively try to fix bugs and implement change to the game.

Overall, the game is a good time waster, and have potential.

Also, as at the latest update, we have a story mode.

And now, the dev has decided the honey moon is over, and turn the game into a money grab.

The core game is great, Character looks mature, beautiful, and not out of context (no dragon wings or sh*t like that). Customization is diverse if a bit hard to implement. The gameplay is mostly auto grind, but the battle system shines where it counts (PvP, war). It has one of the smoothes battle system in the market.
BUT: This version is modified to be heavily p2w. They changed many core aspects of the original game to make ppl pay more. The dev largely ignore the complaints of players, instead focus on fixing bug that has almost no impact on the game, or creating more issue. Example: They nerf the lvl1 zone fox monster because someone claiming those are too powerful. Most patch introduce new cash shop items, or QOL that links with spending, or nerf things that would give f2w players a chance.
Verdict: If you can, play the other version of this master piece. [可憐]

This is a typical gatcha in Castlevania skin. It aims to resemble the old games in the series, meaning the graphics is old and retro. Music is so so. The gameplay is 2D side scrolling with single and co-op mode. The game has no autoplay, and has controller support. I repeat: No auto play, has controller support.

Spoiler: Story is ripped directly from Another Eden Princess side story.

As for the gatcha, you have 3 gatchas for weapons (character exclusive), sub weapons (shared between some char) and amours (free for all). It has elements, and a character can equip multiple amours and weapons, so you will have to roll the blasted thing over and over again. Gem is somewhat easy to get (co op has rank, which rewards gems). Btw, characters are unlocked through story missions, no roll needed.

And last but not least, the game is grindy (typical Jap gatcha). They have free skip tickets, though.

Fan of Castlevania will defenitely love this game. But most of them should be too old for it.[發困]

1st impression is: This is your typical gatcha game in pokemon skin. You form a 3 man team, you pull the cool stuff with cash, you auto through the content till you burn yourseft out, etc. THEN:

- There is no stamina system, you grind at your own pace.

- When you finally grind yourself to the end, they unlock more stuff for you to grind. And harder battle. This game is really macho.

- The free stuff can be upgraded, and some is more usable than the premium stuff.

Im still in the middle of grinding for my 1st gear, what will they come up next?

The concept: Bring your own beautiful customized Gunpla into battle.
The reality:
- Your strongest gunpla will almost always be a monster with mismatch parts from various gundam franchise. To drive it home, the very first gundam you build is... a fusion of a GM and a Zaku.
- You can't paint your gunpla. You can select from a color preset that you have to UNLOCK first. Bye bye my dream of a pink and orange camo Sazabi.
- Prepare to grind an insane amount of time, or throw an insane amount of real hard cash into the grinder for your dream gunpla.
- Also, the best part of real life gunpla is modding. And this game has no modding whatsoever. Bye bye my dream of an eight arms spider theme Zeta Gundam.
- Did I mention you have a seperate gatcha for AI pilots?

And the multiple choice story remind me of some *cough* adult dating sim.

Game is so so. The music and combat feels repetitive. After playing for a while, it feels like I'm in a nightmare with no escape (Oh crap, that's the premise of this game).

1. You need 10 copies of a character to reach his/her potential (1 to get said character, 9 to awaken to 5*).
2. There are 2 seperate gatchas for character and equiptment.
3. While the rate is not very bad. The gatcha is VERY expensive.
4. It has PVP
5. It has invitation system, meaning chat is filled with invitation code spam
6. It use an active battle system, with skill spam and auto.
7. The story is confusing, with a lot of mumbo jumbo, and bad translation.

In overal, this game is nothing like Another Eden. :P

OH~! My Office

As a corporate employee, I approve of this.
Honestly, the gameplay is simple, grindy if you go f2p, but not as stinky as some other similar game. The story is fun with some quirky character.

It has ups and downs, and scandals. But for the most part, it is a good game from a good developer.
Warning: It is nick named Grindblue Fantasy for a reason.[發困]

They make a P2W game with grindable premium currency. The dev is very good indeed.

Graphic is good. It looks like a modded Skyrim. Sadly, that's all it has to offer. The gameplay is slow and repetitive, with next to nothing story. What I hate the most is the random loot chest that takes time to open. I'm sorry Bethesda, you were better than this.[發怒]

1. Gameplay is simple, with enough challenge later on. The control is chunky, no pad or emulator support.
2. Graphics and sound is great.
3. Story is typical rpg.
4. Support is superb. In one case they change a weapon's name based on player demand. They also actively listen to players, and even changing their gatcha model to meet players expectation.
10/10 would play for a long time.[微笑]

When I play, my head is filled with chrono trigger's sound track. Nostalgia at its best.
