Wild Fighter Idle

1.8

To say this is bad would be a massive understatement to what this game means to the Black Survival IP. This is a complete and utter insult towards every single person who's ever supported both Immortal Soul and Eternal Return. If anything, the fact that this came so soon after Immortal Soul's shutdown is a complete joke.

The gameplay is the same kind of generic idle schlock you see elsewhere, not much to say there. Music is completely forgettable even in comparison to the other two games, a lot of assets are just straight up taken from the other games, the game is riddled with ad bonuses, and the monetization might be some of the worst I've seen on paper. What the hell is a gacha level? Why do you have to level the gacha up with pulls to even be physically able to roll the top two rarities? Why are there five different gacha types that each have their own level?

Saying Mobirix is garbage would probably not call for stopping the press, they crap these out like a machine gun as far as I know; what's more important to take out of this is what this says about Nimble Neuron. Having completely taken over the IP from the original project, they didn't even wait a year from the original game's shutdown to casually toss the license to whatever sweatshop can make the most abysmal game. This shows a complete lack of care for their product and lack of respect towards their fans/customers. As it stands, I am no longer comfortable with supporting NN.

Shadow Hunter: Lost World

2.8

A lot of telltale signs of P2W, a lot of the game's aspects aren't really noticeable, they're just sorta there being bland; there are definitely worse games on the market, but it's still sort of a questionable one.

The additions to the original Compass controls make it feel kind of clunky, but it's something you can get used to. The balance feels questionable, most notably with the "technical" characters, as ex. the sniper needs literally a single shot to knock you down and finish you off.

While the music is now a collab with known musicians and bands, it'll feel inferior to the Vocaloid composer collab almost immediately - a lot of tracks feel weak enough that I have to put on my own tracks. Even if the character you play does have a track you like, have fun getting it to pop up with seemingly a 1-in-51 chance.

Lag feels more noticeable in comparison to Compass, whether in-game or general loading.

The optimization feels MUCH worse; while I can play Compass on max settings just fine, this game's FPS take a dip whenever there's more people on the screen (so any time you're at the money truck), even on bottom settings. It's almost as if they didn't tweak the engine in any way, and expected a 51-person BR to run the same as a 6-person MOBA.

I don't know if there's just nobody playing this, but I keep getting whales from top tiers even as far down as Bronze 2. It also unfortunately shows that the game's just as whale-to-win as Compass, as the stat boosts are back. Have fun getting instakilled by some sad otaku with a full stack of +10 URs you can't even get yet, I guess? If anything, this is even more pay-to-win, as there are no teammates to rely on, and just one death takes you out for good. The VIP system is still there and is still surprisingly cheap, now seemingly giving you free characters. The monthly GC pack is surprisingly cheap too. If you decide to get into the game, they could be worth it.

I'll try giving it a chance a bit longer, but so far I can't really say this is decisively better or worse than Compass.

UPDATE: This game is the first time I ever decide to try getting an IAP refund. I genuinely regret putting even $3 into it. Take that however you'd like.

Kick-Flight

2.3

Pretty blatant Compass clone, except more bland

If you're a fan of the generic mobile ARPG gameplay vibe and $30 outfits, you'll probably like this.

A Tag Knight

2.0

Literally all you do is hold the attack button. That's it. The attack VFX gets old incredibly fast and it took me less than five minutes to bug the game out into oblivion. The edgy girl they're shilling this with has a nice design.

Girl Cafe Gun | Japanese

2.0

Auto shitshow pretending to be a skillful shooter (same as Azur Lane); uncleared auto starting right after the handholding ends; very lacking audio design

Werewolf Judgement

3.5

Pretty competent Werewolf game with an annoying energy system. The lack of English support is an unfortunate shame.

PUBG MOBILE | Global

2.3

Typical battle royale. It's PUBG, after all. Borderline comical levels of greediness. The RE2 crossover had roughly $50 skins; battle passes primarily contain timed rewards; the Google Play prepaid card event was almost entirely timed items.

Tekken Mobile

2.6

It was somewhat playable, but painfully pay-to-win. It gave Tekken Revolution a run for its money in MTX department. Requiescat in pace, papa.

King's Raid

2.2

Nice graphics, fantastic theme songs, storyline turns edgy. I should like this. I want to. Too bad it's an auto shitfest. Too bad it shills being able to get and rank any character for free, only for the whale meta to be focused on character-specific equipment.

RESIDENT EVIL.NET Mobile

1.0

Very laggy to the point of being useless. You're genuinely better off popping a browser on your phone and directly going to the website yourself.

Makai Wars | Japanese

2.0

Generic SRPG with auto on uncleared, making any sort of gameplay borderline pointless. The Disgaea vibe, while pleasant, is merely audiovisual. 3k yen 10-rolls on top of a measly 1% rate for the highest rarity.

It's basically an easier, simpler Pangya. If you like these sort of games, you'll probably enjoy this as well. Desperately needs a putting training mode.

Tower of Hero

2.2

Generic idle game.

Pandoraid: Action RPG

4.0

Charming audio and visuals, and the gameplay's fairly unique. Plenty of characters to unlock as well, so there's always a goal to aim for. The banner ad is placed at a location your eyes are never really intended to shift to, but the full ads after death can get annoying. They do skip after only five seconds, though. No MTX I'm aware of either, even ones for disabling the aforementioned.

League of Wonderland

2.0

Clash Royale clone in nearly every single aspect. How stupid/ignorant/naive/pathetic/all of the mentioned do you have to be to rip off a game like that this heavily in mid-current year and expect to achieve anything?

SINoALICE | Japanese

3.8

Everything relating to visual/audio design and story is absolutely wonderful. Yoko Taro is a God amongst men, who can do no wrong, and his usual crew such as Keiichi Okabe never fails to impress. Get to the actual game though, and you get pointless auto trash with ridiculously overpriced packages. Forget about being of any use in Colosseum without whaling either.

Stella Maiden | English

3.2

Surprisingly good. Comfy music, alright gameplay and its summons run on mechanics similar to games like Azur Lane, so you can get most top-tiers relatively easy and without so much as a thought of paying. Couldn't care less about the storyline, though.

Pokémon Masters EX

1.6

Auto. Really weird optimization, where most things will run fine, but things like sync animations lag on even a pretty solid phone.

Oh cool, so it's gonna be one of those shitty idlers that pretends to be benevolent with tons of summons, only to make a different aspect blatantly pay-to-win, like gear or needing like 30 dupes to make a character remotely usable. Read Note
