5.0You need to connect to a JP VPN during the 1st time login and after that, it's not needed. Game is amazing and great but you need to make and connect a JPN Google Account in order to make in-app purchases for tickets needed for Special Banners. It's not like Global where the regular tickets work for Special Banners. Characters like Valkyrie Noelle and Black Asta on JP use different tickets which need to be bought with real money. Just a warning.

Edit: They (Netmarble) did give out a lot of free tickets for logging in and completing missions but still need a JP Google Account in case you want to spend your own money.
