Even though I didn't play the game since the very release, I really liked and enjoyed it until recently.
The story and the setting is quite interesting, I like the portrayal of the chaeacters and their unique personalities, and the fact that, although interact between each other a lot. However, there are some plotholes and unresolved arcs — most likely a result of having different freelance writers.
The music is amazing (honestly, it'sone of the reasons I have stayed), and the art is always good — both 4* and 5* cards are pleasing to the eye.
I find the vertical gameplay very nice and convenient as well, not to the mention the ability to choose the skills you want to activate.
But, that's where joy end and pain starts. The game is extremely unfriendly not only to beginners, but to f2ps as well. If you are not lucky in gacha abd don'thave cards with the right skills, you have to be prepared that you will not be getting all the event rewards unless you grind really, really hard. Recently, it has been even more difficult and the amount of poins needed to get rewards has been gradually rising, which, personally, discourages me from even trying unless it's the team I really like.

In short, if you are here for the music and the story, I recommend trying the game. Otherwise... maybe better save yourself the stress c':

I really like this game! I've been playing the Chinese version at first but switched to the Japanese server in order to better understand the story.
What I like the most about this game is probably the characters and the storyline. I love the way the food's history is intertwined with the character's biography. Their interactions, personalities and skills are quite interesting and seems to make a lot of sense.
The story, while it might seem usual cliché plot, has its own flavor. The way it is written makes me feel and emphasize with characters. MC's worry and sadness regarding tlost friends, our food souls' love for each other — in my opinion, they are well-written and quite touching.
Japanese voice actors did an amazing job, too! Plus, a lot of them are well-known too.
Music is the other aspect I enjoy, especially the way traditional melodies are sometimes mixed with modern ones.

You can get most of the things for free, including characters' costumes and bgm songs. Granted, some outfits are hidden behind the paywall, but, at least for now, there's not a lot of them. Some of the costumes can be easily obtained through the vents as well.

Gameplay... might get a bit boring and tedious after some time ,D But for the grinding you can just turn the auto mode on and do your own thing. Certain aspects and stages require more tactical thinking and planning, which helps to keep things somewhat interesting.
Another important point, though, is the fact that there is a lot to do ,D Which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. Cooking, completing orders at the restaurant, grinding, upgrading farm, meeting characters, exploration, guild bosses, weekly bosses, arena and so on.

All in all, it's a very good game in my opinion. Guilds and the members are happy to help all of the time and the community keeps you engaged.
