No disappointment. I play both the og gfl and this one.
Pros: Good 3d graphics, simple enhancement, engaging gameplay(don't auto. you actually do need strategical positioning.), great characters, decent events, nice story.
Cons: 100% monetisation of cosmetics. The only problem I have with this game. Knowing that GFL 1 doesn't have a fully monetised cosmetics system makes this much more annoying for me... I mean, GFL 1 gives out free gems quite often(even as monthly login rewards), but Exilium does not give out credit tokens for free. Also, the pull rates are a lot lower than the og GFL, given that there is a different gacha system.
EDIT: DO NOT BELIEVE THE CRAPPY ADS! I personally haven't seen any ads yet, but I saw one on a Reddit post a while ago, and the ad was very different from the game. If you see any ads that make the game look unworthy of being part of the GFL universe, then DO NOT believe it. The game is good.
Additionally, the IOP wiki(which is the best GFL wiki in my opinion) has recently started working on compiling a section for this game too. If you want any info, then I've found them to be highly reliable.
Good. This is a game for casual play. Really casual. Events aren't that hard and last for about a month. They even made some effort to slightly reduce monetisation(originally, you could only obtain characters by paying. Now, there is a chance to obtain them for free with 'recruitment tickets' obtained by gacha - gacha currency is obtainabe for f2ps without too much difficulty.)
EDIT: It seems that collabs will not be f2p friendly. The collab event with SHY is 96% p2p. I say 96 because you can get one of three collab characters for free in the limited login calendar. BUT Shy herself and Spirit are only available through packs that can only be bought with paid currency.
Good overall. Art, events, story, characters, free resources(including gacha currency) all quite nice.
But one issue: do NOT believe the 'recommended level' for a stage clearance. I'm not saying it is always so, but there are many times when i couldn't clear a stage even with all my characters 5+ lvls above the rec lvl. Sometimes even 10+ lvls above rec.
Pros: Great story, not p2p, the cosmetics are not monetised heavily, great art.
Cons: Grind-heavy, events are unplayable for new players(but it isn't difficult to enhance/level up.)
I would also recommend GFL 2: EXILIUM. Don't believe the shitty ads/teasers. The game is great.
Best shipgirl gacha game. Definitely better than kancolle(personally, opinions may differ after all, no offense to kancolle fans)
F2P possible, i'm f2p myself. quick tip for f2ps: never use gems for anyting other than dock expansions, you get characters rlly fast so you will run out of dock space quite a lot. u can get gems by getting 3 stars in main campaigns + free gifts in mail when it's the yearly anniversary.
bit heavy on storage - more than 15gb last time i checked. but worth it
good artwork in general
good cvs
event storylines r pretty good
nice leisure features
Not that many technical issues(id est: bugs, crashes, et cetera) in my experience, and if there are any the devs are quick to fix them
active community, lots of places to get info
but for some reason the main campaign doesn't have story cutscenes.
This is one of the few moblie games that has managed to keep me loyal! I dont think i''ll ever leave this game and I hope this game never dies.
Kemono Friends:Kingdom
4.0Very cute art. Not that difficult to play and gacha rates seem decent. Weirdly educational too.
