Illusion Connect: Re

Illusion Connect: Re

A FEW DAYS IN:

Exactly the game I remembered. There's an interesting premise with the gameplay, I got to admit.

The UI is very bad, though. It's convoluted and all over the place. Some buttons are way too tiny.

Most importantly, the game is soooo grindy. We're very resource-limited from the start, and the game doesn't give us even a minute to dream of any kind of abundance.

The graphics are nice, and I think some designs are cool. I think, with all the lazy, cheap AI-genned gachas we can see around, this aspect shines a bit more.

So honestly, the characters are nice, but playing this game again for a while reminded me of every problem I had with it when it first came.

A MONTH IN:

It's fun. It's the same game it was a few years ago, and it's fun.

Gameplay has been something enjoyable; there's fun to be had in finding which characters to deploy and when, as that can truly determine how a battle will turn out for you.

The character designs are very nice, and I've grown to find the outdated UI somewhat charming. The game's art, in my eyes, comes to represent this illusory, dreamy atmosphere that the name "Illusion Connect" evokes.

To be quite honest, the story... it might be interesting, but at times it's not quite readable. Some of the dialogue, in my experience, makes for a poor reading experience, as it was probably translated roughly. Also, in a more personal note, I see the story trying to talk about profound, esoteric themes, but it seems to do so either in a cliché, or in a nonsensical manner (probably due to poor translation?) At the end, I end up choosing not to even engage with the story.

Anyways, the game is certainly interesting. Would I recommend it? I'm not quite sure. It's a fun, strategic, and quick game; but it's also grindy (even if generous too), and certainly a bit outdated in regards to UI and overall player experience.

Still, it's a fine game. Felt like I needed to update the review, as I've been having fun with it these last few weeks.

Apex Girls | Japanese/English

Seems nice. Reminds me, slightly, of Nikke, although that game's certainly peak. To be fair, I've spent about an hour on this game, so I've got not much to say.

girls love dance | Taiwan

This game is really lewd. And well, I like it! Such are the ways of the gooner, though.

Devs are really generous, graphics are good enough and gameplay-wise, this is much more fun than the generic gooner game, being a roguelike "bullet hell" (I think?)

Overall, there's good value in here, and the devs are really rooting for us gooners. So... play if you want to? And please, if this is not to your liking... leave it be ¿;

Girl's Love Dance | Taiwan

Spicy. Very spicy. Quality-wise... did I say it's very spicy...?

EDIT: Gameplay's sort of fun... poorly optimized, I reckon, but overall more entertaining than your average chinese H-game with it. Devs seem generous too.

Main problem I'm having is in regards to menus being translated partially; that sort of makes it hard to play.

Maidens Fantasy: LUST | SEA

Designs are hot... character lore is very kinky and full of different fetishes.

Definitely a game with a certain audience in mind.

ドラゴンとガールズ交響曲 | QooApp日本語版

Hot girls. This game has been around quite a lot of time with other titles, so I wouldn't expect it to last long. Quite more generous with everything than the global versions.

Monster Never Cry | English

Beautiful game, seems really fun. Will update the review after some time.

You know why you are here... The art is hot.
The game is... did I mention the art is hot?

How To Raise A Harem | QooApp Exclusive Version

The game itself is pretty much what you'd expect from a generic idle waifu collector.

If there's anything worth checking out from this game, it has to be the art and the skins. This game pulls no punches, and really delivers on the waifus and their skins. Some of them are really lewd, which really explains why this cannot be found on the App Store.

As for myself, I play this game, not because it's particularly fun, but because it's sort of an 'art' gallery. There's really not much else to it, I guess.

If that's what you're interested in, congrats. You've found a waifu collector which is sort of generous with its summoning currency and the currency used to buy skins. They even give out via events some of the best skins around.

So, if you are looking for a spicy waifu collector, look no further. For interesting gameplay, keep looking elsewhere.

Edit: Now's the time to get a lot of rewards! Check events if you feel interested in some spicy skins.
