Great fun at first due to the novelty but fell off after a while. Still need a lot of refining. Buggy launch was almost a deal breaker for me but these devs are willing to listen to the player base so I gave it another chance.
Graphics is surprisingly good and can be tweaked if you have some technical knowledge.
The sound in this game is whatever. Nothing to write about.
The storyline is better than I expected, probs to the writers. The beginning is really slow though so I can see a lot of people just stop caring and skip everything.
Wouldn't touch on the value ratings for a 2 months old game.
Farming speed is (kind of) faster than Genshin Impact so I'd say it respect the player's time.
Rewards are issued pretty frequently due to the rocky launch and bugs. Wouldn't say this game is better than Genshin at this point, it still has a long way to go. Optimization is still not that good, fps drop is still a common issue across a wide range of devices.
Graphics: Excellent, even though it's only 2D. UI is intuitive enough that I can autopilot most of normal gameplay functions. Some illustrations really hits different but the fact the you can't interact with them might disappoint some of you.
Sound: Gameplay wise it's fine, can be mildly annoying on some operators (I'm looking at you, Saga and Chongyue). Some of the sound tracks in this game are really good actually. Operators voice lines do reflect their personalities and stories so check them out!
Gameplay: This is the best tower defense game I've played, but it gets repetitive after a certain point, especially if you only use op braindead operators (some blue women and Surtr) and the fact that sweeping basically does not exist in this game (gotta record some auto and watch the game do it).
Storyline: It's decent, but it requires a lot of time and dedication to go through due to the writing style. Sometimes I just don't care enough to read (too long, didn't read, blame Kal'tsit).
Value: The more you play, the more experience you get and more strategies you can pull off. You gotta think like a strategist to play this game. Strategy Optimization in this game feels pretty good. The gacha part is generous, I've been pretty successful with it. I was able to get the featured 6* in less than 30 pulls on most banners because the base rate is 2% or 3% most of the time.
Side notes:
Some events may have higher difficulty than others, like how Stultifera Navis is wayyy harder than Dorothy's Vision, etc. It's not a bad thing, it's just that the newbie experience can be wildly different based on when you start the game.
The difficulty in this game can really spike in chapter 7,8 and later if you don't know what you are doing. And on the other side, you can get away with a lot of stuff in this game when you have enough understanding of how things work (4* and 3* only can clear most content if you are mad enough)
I treat this game as a waifu collecting game so take my opinion with a grain of salt. And you must buy every Suzuran skin, no excuses. It's the law. Bless our light.
