Blue Archive | Global

4.6

Not gonna write a whole super ultra complex in depth review, but anyways, here's what i'd like to tell you after playing this game since launch...

1. Graphics

Blue Archive has been very good in terms of graphics. Though at the beggining of it's release, it is quite a bit not as polished as now, so, as you can see from some of the late 2021/early 2022 reviews, many players including me struggled so hard to log in at those days.

But about the graphics we have now...
(+) The bountiful amount and the excessive detail within it's CGs, L2Ds, and Chibis are one sole thing that scales up my rating.

Yes!

Blue Archive has it's main graphics power inside their CGs, L2Ds and Chibis.
(++) You can interact with over 50 L2Ds and yes you can pat them!!!
(+) You can see how the Chibis interact with you and yes a lot of them has a good ULT skill animation!!!
(+) and then you can see how far the depth of this game's CG could be once you're in to it's story.

So far for me, and tl:dr
// The Global version deserved a 9.4/10, a high rating.
// Whereas the JP nailed a 9.8/10 with the Volume F, truly amazing.

2. Sound

(+++) Obviously a 10/10. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR? Blue Archive OST's are just insanely good.

Mitsukiyo, Aiceroom Nor, KARUT. THANK YOU FOR GIVING THIS GAME LOTS OF BANGERS.

3. Gameplay

// On general. I would say a solid 9/10. But here's some key details...

(+) Sweep button, perfect gameplay feature that allows you to skip battles straight to the rewards. Perfect for those who is in a pressing situation or have a hard time schedule. It almost feels like this game was designed for adults who already have pressing jobs. Good job Nexon. I wonder what's inside the storyline. 10/10.

(+) Total Assault Raids are definitely painful, but with enough brain, strategizing, and borrowing your club's student, or your friendlist, Plat is easy. Definitely better than Genshin's abyss for me, sorry. 9.5/10.

(-) Scrimmage. I hate scrimmage. 8/10.

(+-) Joint Allied Operations. I forgot the name probably. But with it basically being a test for your students. Yeah, i like it. 8.6/10.

4. Storyline

I SWEAR, I NEVER CRIED IN ANY GAMES EXCEPT THIS.

AND NO, I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT VOLUME F THAT GAVE ME A BARREL OF FRESHLY CUT ONION. VOLUME 3 OR EVEN VOLUME 1 IS ENOUGH TO SHED YOU TEARS.

I WANT EVERYONE TO GET HAPPY ENDINGS, PLEASEEEE...

ISAKUSAN, THANK YOU FOR BEING THE WRITER OF THIS STORY OF YOUTH. 100/10.

5. Value

// Overall. A Solid 100/100 for me (i am biased).

// But if you want the unbiased overall value, i would say that Blue Archive (Global) nailed a whole 95/100.
// I didn't reviewed the gacha since there's already enough reviews about that.
// But yeah, it's definitely worth to play this game fully F2P as the value is more within the student interactions, the story, and their arts.

Good job Nexon. Don't crush our hopes again.

See you all in my next review, i guess
