gacha and drop rates, those who are familiar with these understand the concept and are able to save up stellar jades for their favourite characters. you win and sometimes you lose, but regardless we're familiar with how it works.
Honkai: Star Rail is a whole package full of content and value. it boasts an interesting storyline that follows an entourage of characters, and the combat is satisfying and pretty easy to get used to.
although saving may seem difficult and the gacha system that the game uses is different to others (case in point, A3 with only 145gems per 10 draw), it is quite easy to earn stellar jades. there's lots to do like unlocking achievements, beating different bosses and harvesting resources.
the game will take up time to get through, but i believe that's completely fine and one should enjoy it at their own pace. attempting to speed run it will only put a damper on the experience.
in short, Star Rail offers gorgeous visuals and character designs, a fascinating storyline, great voice acting and music (i recommend Chinese VA), gameplay that's easy to pick up and satisfying, and a very valuable experience.
(the only reason why graphics was knocked down a bit is because it runs much better on computer. i prefer playing it there haha.)
masamune date ily. pretty fun and interesting fictional otome game based on history and inspired by japanese warlords of feudal japan. it's not easy, and the graphics are outdated (in an endearing way), but i do recommend it to fans of otome games! plus, there are over ten characters, and you can choose your favourite to be the love interest!

review may change as ive only started playing, but to put it shortly, it's wonderful and new. the concept is quite different and there are some interesting and new features that really make the game more fun!
HOWEVER! my biggest problem, and maybe only problem, is the terrible naming. localisation is a key step for games, especially for popular and good games like themis! so, tell me why they gave all of the characters such peculiar or bland names???? as someone studying chinese and with many friends who play the chinese version, i almost feel like switching to it (if only i could) because the names really annoy me haha.
that aside, give it a try! i was hesitant, but after some coaxing from a classmate, i was immediately hooked!
tsuki is a friend from another world, a world in which no one judges, discriminates, or cares about who you are in a way that you are free to be whoever you always have wanted to be. it's escapism, almost like a good retirement after a long and eventful career. the characters are family, the music is a gentle blanket, and the game is an experience that you wish to prolong for as long as you can—forever, if possible. it heals, it entertains, and it is home; an odyssey known as tsuki's odyssey.
life—in—adventure. roll the dice and see where fate leads you as you go on various quests to be whatever it is you have dreamed of. slay dragons, save princesses, or marry into the elven royal family. it never gets old and the developers are constantly working on making it better and adding new stories! thank you, devs, for this treasure trove of a game. <3
gorgeous men that come from all different walks of life with various different motivations, careers, and character designs. this game has helped me find meaning in life more times than i can count. on days i dont feel like doing much, i am reminded of the dialogue and especially characters like itaru.
i could go on a rant—no, i could write a 24-paged essay about how much i love chigasaki itaru, but I won't take up your time like that. give it a try, even if you're new or not big on otome/ikemen games. besides, you don't do any romancing anyways! this wonderful app will never leave you bored, and you don't at all have an obligation to play everyday. in fact, I've only recently returned to this game as life got busy and the connection sucked.
what more do i need to do to convince you to play? now, if you excuse me, I'll be on my way to go save more gems for my husband's birthday <3
for lovers of decorating, dressing up, and the adorable. at times, it can get repetitive or boring, however, i still check in when I'm free to change outfits or buy more furniture. there's actually quite a lot to do, though it's a more passive game.
also laggy at times hh.

okay lemme list the pros for you.
— gorgeous graphics (even on my aging and average phone; theres's literally a button to take screenshots that corrects the graphics so you get high quality shots).
— gorgeous and sweet love interests (raf <3 ofc theres also xavier, zayne, and perhaps more otw).
— gorgeous writing (they did not spare an expense with the game writers translators. its's all so well-written i was pleasantly surprised. it makes everything much more enjoyable.
— content galore ! (there are dozens of stories that come with the 4 and 5 star cards, text messages/social media updates, mini games inside the game, and customizable options. kitty cards is so fun)!!
— combat + voice acting (weird combo but well the battles are fun and a nice touch. also the animations? gorgoeus. i use chinese va, and 🤭🥰).
thast's it. now go clear some storage, cause you'll need at least 10gb.
