Here, have my crappy review. Be warned that it's not nicely written, very all over the place lololol
G.ameplay ::
It's addictive and great. Song charts are creative and depending on the song, is a pain in the a$$ to play (I'm looking at you Lower. You're the only EXPERT LV. 26 I can't fc ). Flicks suck as always but it's really satisfying when you hit it at certain parts of songs(especially the gold ones)! The slides gave me a hard time at first since I was a bandori player but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy/fun and also challenging!!
There are 3 types of lives:
1)Solo Live(idk if that's the name.) - This mode is just you playing. You pick the song you want in whatever difficulty you have. You can buy more songs in the music shop along with "another vocals" of characters from that cover in the cover shop.
2)Multilive - It's on the name, you play with other players and pick songs. Most of the time, JP players don't pick songs and just click random because there's a lot of songs. More rewards and event points.
3)Cheerful Live - This is a 5v5. You pick a team when you enter the event page. I think there's like three days where they announce who's in the lead and who wins by the end of the event. You get 3x energy for the first two leads/2x energy if you're losing in both days. I think there's crystals given to the teams but the winning team gets more, don't know how much lol i forgor.

Songs:
I was just a casual listener of Vocaloid producers/utaite covers before playing this game.(played this cuz I heard mafumafu made songs here lmao) So I was really happy and enjoyed it whenever I played a song I love.
But, it was strictly the VS version. I didn't like the SEKAI ver because I was used to utaite covers and it felt lacking to me in some way.
Then I got bored after a while of just listening to just VS ver and said to myself 'Hey why not give a 2nd chance to the SEKAI ver??' Definitely did not regret giving it a second chance! Especially after growing attached to the characters. (p.s Some Virtual singers sound a bit jarring in some SEKAI versions but other than those they really fit lol)
--------
Characters/Story:
Okay, usually I don't care about characters in gacha rhythm games but this is the first time I actually bothered to read into the characters since I'm usually here just for the gameplay. Whenever I gacha, I just look at characters that interest me and pull on their banner. But that changed when I read their stories---
First unit story I read? Vivid Bad Squad.
---
Before reading, I really liked Akito, his vocals sounded good (and i love his seiyuu), so I never knew anything about how he is or his personality. Hence, it was a bit of a surprise when I saw how he was in other chapters of the story. I was like "Okay, he's kinda blunt but he has is providing a fair point.."
Finished the story and wanted to look into his character further so I watched some EN translations of his card stories on YT. He became one of my absolute favorite characters after that. Akito focused events made me appreciate him a lot more too (Haven't read his other ones yet!!)
I'm not gonna type out each of my thoughts on every unit story since I still haven't finished some but instead, here's my top 5 characters (Not including vocaloids!) :
1-2) Akito Shinonome and Ena Shinonome - (Any Shinonome siblings kinnies here? I'm more like Ena but it's a mix between them. 1st time I kin characters too. They be having good vocals and good event songs wtf,,,Fav from Ena focused events is Close to gray and Nomad while Moonlight for Akito)
3) Mizuki Akiyama - (Found them extremely cute, fabulous and relatable whenever I saw their cards and read their area conversations//card stories. Strong vocals, good for a band instrumental, imo. P.s that Usseewa cover game chills and absolutely adore her Bocca Della Varita cover with Mafuyu. )
4) Emu Ootori - (Haven't finished WxS story but I absolutely love her energy. Her signature 'Wonderhoy!' and laughs just give me butterflies in my tummy Plus she's pink/her color palette is cute (biased since i love pink Ahah...) Also there's this one event I read of hers and made me respect and admire Emu so much that I swear I would give up my life savings for her whenever she's sad. // Her voice just brings my spirit up whenever I hear it. Emunene duets are great, they provide contrast! And i also love her voice being paired with Tsukasa's. They sound so energetic! )
5) Airi Momose - (Haven't read MMJ story BUT out of all the MMJ characters, she caught my eye. Her color palette's a shade of pink (that might be it Lmao) Anyways, I heard that she's a tsundere which I rarely like but she's an exception. (she's also friends with Ena so um, yeah) Her vocals sound good, patchwork staccato cover is very nice to me, ShizuAiri great duo. )
A bunch of characters can appeal to certain players so yeah, have fun finding a character that you really like! There's a lot or you could just choose all of them. Some can be interesting to you or just a 'meh' for you. Really recommend looking into characters that interest you.

Graphics:
My phone is a potato so I don't have 3DMV mode on during gameplay unless it's just the view MV option. But, they're really pretty and nicely animated. Probably rotoscoped which I really love since each dancer has a certain style that fits the characters they're dancing as. (Random but, the dancers from Fragile 3DMV have really great control over their bodies coming from someone who dances for fun!)
Also, since the new update, I think they upgraded the quality of the outfits. Which I think is good cuz I remember seeing how low quality some textures look on outfits. (My cousin who does animation even wondered why their textures were so low quality.) But, that also kind of resulted in other phones not being able to handle proseka anymore so I hope to god, I have a new phone by the time this current phone isn't able to handle the game anymore.
Live shows - I attended some and they're pretty nice. Love the "live" convo but I can't understand since I don't know Japanese but EN saved me from that and the translations on YT.
------
Gacha:
Oh boy....the gacha system here is a 50/50 for me. Either you get the most shittiest pulls or the most luckiest pulls on banners. I remember the time I didn't get any event card from a banner, only four stars from past events. Which, I was obviously pissed at but just stopped to grind again for other events. So you have been warned and be careful when you pull on banners. Or just gacha in general tbh...
-------
Overall, I highly recommend this game even if you only want to play for the songs/vocaloids. It's really fun and entertaining.
