A superb mmorpg with with rather Original battle system different from most if not all of the mmorpg I know of, the character creation is one of the best you could customized almost everything on your Avatar the game also gives you a companion or as they called it a YOME and of course the YOME's are also customizable the same way your avatar is and to top it of the YOME's are also voiced.
The game is also very generous to newbs with free 11 pull gachas for a week and the drop rates is also a steal you have a very high chance of getting at least one SSR equipment.
My gripe on this game is how they handle the early game, cause in my experience it made a mockery of its own battle system because I with only my starting equipment could perty much one punch most early mobs while if I can't the early mobs rarely ever attacks and if I were to get attacked the mobs deals pathetic dmg this makes the battles Boring and the complex system behind it pointless these issues is then paired with the tutorial which in my opinion is poorly paced which more often than not made me tap out and play Toram instead. ![[發困]](/cdn/img/transparent.png){kind=spacer}
A turn based rpg that takes heavy inspiration other turn based rpgs while the gameplay does have its own twist it is nothing revolutionary or unique while it is still fun I do hope that the gameplay will be enhanced with new mechanics and systems that will make it more engaging.
The main reason I gave this game high praises is in its character design the Dev's did great, the characters are properly and fashionably dressed every character looked great and none of them are over sexualized the knights are gallant,the warriors looked strong,the mages and Assassin's are cool and the healers are cute and stylish. I really hoped more games designed their characters like this and stop it with the bikini armor,BDSM tight suit and lingerie robes.
The VO in this game is great and its good that they supporting their local VA's. The graphics are simple and gorgeous nice on the eyes and less strain on your battery. The Game does not to my knowing have a gacha at least not for the characters rather you get them by advancing the story I Praise the devs for this risky decision because in the Mobile game world gacha reigns supreme and one of the main source of income of many mobile games. And thus I wish this game the best and pray the Devs huge success.
This game is one of the most F2P friendly ones out there the gacha rates are acceptable, the story is well written, sound design praise worthy, Refreshing 2d graphics and especially the characters design in this game which sold it to me. in today's mobile gaming climate where characters are often over sexualised 3d thots and boy toys its good to see the cool and charismatic characters designs in Ark Knights my personal favourites is Waai Fu and and Firewatch.
one the best waifu/husbando collector out there with the superb cg models with equally good voice acting the game is also generous enough with its premium currency which also means more pulls for waifus and husbandos but thats about all the great things this game offers to me, I still have it installed for the cg models alone.
Unfortunately despite the interesting story and the above praises this game is the most boring Final fantasy tactics game I have played and I have played almost all the Ff tactics games and the advance series are my faves.
The battles are slow and tedious, most of the time the best way to complete a stage is by out stating your opponents, character progression needs a lot of grinding especially in the weapon proficiency and brave/faith side of things. to cap it off there are better ff tactics games out there play those if ya want great gameplay play this one for the Waifus and husbandos.
the game used to be fun and the gacha rate hit the sweet spot but now after they added the ultra units pvp is damn near impossible to get into the top 100 and not sure it its just me but I once tried pulling those ultra units where they had 5 times the drop rate but got nada. the game is generous with free gear though.
great graphics while the gameplay is basically the same as any other games of this type it has depth with its masteries system. unfortunately this has to be the stingiest gacha game I have ever played because.
1.unlike most gacha games this one does not have free all rarity pulls when you first started.
2.the gacha are divided by rarity which is already bad if you asked me, the campaign mode gives you some shards, but its of the lowest rarity.
3.the lowest rarity shards pulls 1 to 3 star heroes of course the rate is abysmal, the 3 stars i have are given to me at the start and one luckily droped from the campaign map.
4.the campaign rewards are meh and on top of that one of the requirements are ridiculous (use only 2 heroes) this forces players to GRIND THEIR PHONE DEAD or spend money for those high tiered shards.
5.lastly despite the great graphics the heroes are mostly reskins of each other you will be seing a lot of the same hero models over and over again even on the highest rarity units.
My Verdict: Meh game, barely rewards the player and stingy as it can be, for me wasting time on this actually fells bad and I have played my fair share of grindy games.
no Qoo app, I dont really like this game and i admit that this game is of high quality, the graphics,the bgm ,story and battle system is high tier but the near cut throat pull rates for high tier heroes and equipment is putting me off this is because of some reasons.
1.heroes have tiers and each tier have different level caps i can understand that higher tiers meant better abilities and stats but why must lower tier have lower level caps making them damn near useless
2. each hero have an ultimate skill and can only be upgraded by sacrificing the same hero card, sure the 2 lower tiers is fairly easy to get but the 2 higher tier is freaking hard to get making your max level Arturia forever with a lvl 1 Excalibur, for me a successful high tier pull gives me a brief feeling of happiness and excitement followed quickly by hopelessness and despair because I might never be able to lvl up its noble phantasm.

4.2Inherit the Rolex's save the world. thats the most simple explanation I can give on the game power systems. jokes aside while I am not a fan of its gameplay the story is intriguing and character design suits the theme this game is going for. waifus, cuties,Binshe's,tough guys and most importantly cool old guys are the type of characters that inhabit this games.
