I downloaded this immediately after watching Jack's vid yesterday. It's definitely better than I expected. I'm still a beginner at the time of writing this review so this is just my initial opinion.
Firstly, the graphics, chara design, the music, are all amazing! It's themed after the galaxy and stuff so everything here is very ethereal and beautiful. The songs/music are also not bad. There are definitely songs but I've come across more edm or traditional type music.
The gameplay is really interesting. While playing the game is just like any other rhythm game, there are a lot more to it. It has a lot of mechanics to it like for example, you can change the size of the playboard and adjust where to keep the tap line, customise the screen with stickers and even skins for the charas and notes etc. There are music packs but it's still relatively easy to get songs. The materials required for upgrading your charas or unlocking stories are also really easy to obtain. It's alot like Arcaea but an f2p friendly ver.
As for the story, I generally don't pay much attention to stories for these tyoe of games so I won't comment much. Just to summarise(badly), the mc has to go around playing songs to save the universe. The translation can be wonky at times but it's rarely noticeable so it doesn't really feel off putting.
Just to note again, I'm a new player so these are just my poorly written first impression of the game. Take whatever from this review and if you do play it I hope you enjoy and have a good time with it. Also, another thing I noticed is that alot of the reviews under this mentioned not having hit sounds. Don't worry they've already added that feature.
For new people, this is not a game. It's a multimedia music project and consists of units/teams. I am absolutely enjoying myself in this fandom ever since I discovered it. Very fun and supportive fans and lots of banger songs. I call myself a VISTY, cozmez and BAE stan but I just seriously love all of them. They're all absolutely phenomenal and the VAs do a great job at it. Even the storyline, the chara designs, the music, the overall concept, it's all truly amazing!
I only play this for the songs so I can't say much about the story but the charas are not too bland and have an actual interesting motivation for what they do. The gameplay is awesome and I'm really happy about the songs added so far. The game does glitch/lag at times which can be frustrating during shows but those are quite uncommon so it's not too much of a problem atm(?) Some features can be confusing at first but you get the hang of it eventually. The rewards are not too bad either and the gacha rates are also great. Many beautiful illustrations. I could go on and on about how much I like this game but lemme just shut up and stop here

It's far behind the Jp ver in terms of events and features so people who wanna play old events can easily follow along with this ver. The charas are not so bland and have actual individual motivations for their actions. The events are fun and unique from each other and the main thing, the gacha rates are not so bad. It does require grinding but the results can be rewarding although I won't sugarcoat my words. The rewards can be quite unsatisfactory at times. I don't know about Kr or Tw but Jp has better rewards than this. The gameplay is smooth but playing the mv at the same time as the show can make it glitch. It even glitches/lags during coops. It does depend on the skills of the player but it also heavily depends on the cards that you use. So it can be frustrating at times when you get a lower score than the other person even though you played better. The choices of the songs added are great but I wish they added more songs faster. But overall, it's a great game and even more fun to play with other people and spam stickers. Quite challenging at times to level up or increase rank, but still fun nonetheless. I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do❤
