I've been playing this game since it first came out, and its gone a long way since then. Plenty of disney characters in the game to obtain and use, a nice story, and a decent amount of other gameplay elements to do. I will say this though, that new players joining the game now will have a hard time unless they spend money in it. It is pretty p2w, since the level cap is very high and getting characters to that limit from the start can and probably will take a lot of time if you are f2p, since your characters max level can only go as high as your player account level (if your account level is 10, your characters can only get up to level 10, and so on). If you dont care about PvP, then taking your time with the game and upgrading units, collecting more characters as you go isnt a problem, but competing in PvP isnt that easy unless you put some sort of money into the game. Some characters are also very commonly used since they are really good, and the meta changes every so often, as a character or characters that are really good usually get countered by the next character that is added. However, you can still do really good with characters that are not meta or that are not commonly used, it just all depends on the team composition and what team you are going against.
The game is pretty fun and challenging. Each character has a class of sorts, from being a tank, a range unit, a support that can't deal damage, and so forth.
Its a tower defense game mixed with gacha. It is pretty generous with currency for pulls, and getting characters can be pretty easy. Each character has their own personalities and strengths and weaknesses, and while some characters are very strong, others feel like they dont have presence on the battlefield or that they die too quickly.
The gameplay can be hectic with a lot of stuff happening at once, and keeping track of everything thats going on and what character has their ability ready to activate. The placement of characters in stages are important too; you don't want to put your weak support units in a spot that they will get easily killed, but also almost every stage is a trail and error of sorts. You'll need to see how the stage plays and where enemies are coming from the most, or the more dangerous enemies are coming from, and plan accordingly to it. Units can be only placed in spots they are allowed in, such as ranged units on the sides and close combat fighters and tanks on the pathway to fight.
Overall, the game is pretty fun, but since its fairly new there will be bugs or issues here and there, just takes time for things to be cleaned up and fixed. Im looking forward to more characters being added, additional story or side missions being added, and also costumes being added (at the moment, only 1 costume is in the game, and not sure how its even obtained atm)
One of my favorite animes and also one of my favorite mobile games atm. One thing I will say is that even though it takes a lot of special currency to do gacha rolls, the game is very generous and gives you quite a bit of it frequently, plus doing story missions and other things gives you that currency. All the friends are unique, and the animations for attacks and miracle moves are amazing. The voices are really cute and very expressive. I'm glad this game is still going and wish I was able to play it when it initially was released.
