I was fully expecting the regular otome treatment especially with how it began but oh man the storyline took a sharp turn.
It's not the best writing but I enjoy it a lot. I love Cael and Alkaid and I'm excited to see how the story goes on.
My biggest gripe with the game is how the voices are very clearly saying a different name from the characters and it's so jarring to hear their names but read something else.
The graphics aren't the most clean one but I still like it, it reminds me of old big fish mystery hidden object games I used to play.
I'm sorry but I feel like ayn has a very basic looking sprite and he looks better in his cards and even better in the loading screen.
Lars looks like Luca Kaneshiro in some cards lmao but his sprite looks so different and it's like whoa man it's almost like it's two different people pfft. I also don't like Lars as an emperor so I'm kinda biased.
Also I wish I could date Rin/Naheli but if you know you know I gasped so loud when I got her card I was like holy shit it's my girl omg
Ive been waiting for this game just because I saw leaks of luocha and blade a longggg time ago. I didn't have that much high hopes for it because of Genshin impact lmao and also I wasn't used to turn based fighting. But oh man I loved the opening I immediately fell for Kafka she's got a great vibe and she's also pretty. The women in this game are so gorgeous (i personally would kick the shit out of herta and silver wolf tho), I got serval for free and I was just ecstatic cause I loved her weapon it looked cool and shit.
The story is technically not that complex but I enjoy it because of the characters which for a gacha game is pretty important
Also I love luocha to death
Can't skip lessons sadge but otherwise I'm hooked.
Edit: I didn't realize I said so little but uh I'm insane for Leona actually. I relate too much to this 20 yr old who had to repeat his grades because of his lack of motivation.
I feel like the writing falls short in some places like Leona is so smart in other chapters and he's very quick on the uptake usually but in his chapter the reason for the stampede is so stupid. I won't go into detail but oh man it could be better.

Out of everything I think I enjoyed the tower defense just because I like that stuff I was more eager to get to the next fight than learn anything about anyone or the story but I could also get a much better kind of tower defense system in other games so yeah
