I played the predecessor (idk if i spelled that correctly) which is the old version, and i'm glad they made a new one but currently my only problem is how small the button is and kind of hard not to misclick the other button near it .
They added a new group too, so it's not only STARISH and QUARTET NIGHT. Kind of cool how they literally made a whole new game just to add a new group when they could've just added that to the old one.
3D graphic looks like the one from PSP games and gives me nostalgia, but still looks better than the old one which looks kind of unnatural in the 3D MV.
Because japanese is not my native language, i just skipped the story (sorry ).
I like the 3D home screen that showed the idols, and i thought we can change it to pure illustration to not strain our device but turns out you can't .
The gameplay itself is similar to ensemble stars (that's the only rythm game i played that is similar to this with the buttons design and the arrow slides .
I think the mini dorm room that have chibis and furniture are quite similar to most japanese rythm game with a little bit of raising sim elements (we just decorate the room, not actually raising them).
If you're a big fan, play and continue having delulu about your husbandos, because they hit you with new illustration and new artstyle .
Hope this review helps and sorry for some wrong wordings because english is not my native language .
Alright, so i've seen this game before but on korean version and i've been thinking, will there be an english version or just nah? But looks like the developer of the game decided to drop the bomb on me, ✨ english version ✨
Ok, so for this game, it's like maybe or story thing, but the stories are from popular comics such as Lout Of Count's Family, If You Touch My Brother You're All Dead, and many more. But currently, because it's still new, the ones in here are still limited but i'm sure the developer is still adding more stories to be enjoyed.
Btw, this game operates on coin and star system, as per usual in choices game. Star choices, you pick a choice and pay it with star. The coin in this game is used to buy avatar for your profile picture, reset the story if you reached a bad ending (star choices stayed after you reset the game).
The new update made the lobby (the episode viewer and other stuff such as mission, specials, or illust) more nicer.
Btw, the premium pass here used star, so i think you can buy it without money if you can saved up that much without playing the game (i don't think people would do this, but just my opinion that i don't think it's worth it to save up that much stars for a premium pass)
Thank you for reading my nonsensical review, hope you can try out the game yourself and see if you like it or not! <3
Alright, so this is the second game i've reviewed and english isn't my native language so bare with me in my badly written review.
Gameplay :
The gameplay is very chill whereas you can just loop it if you want to not click coz click is a hassle. You take history lessons, your card level goes up, and take flight lessons to increase vignette level which you can then unlock the card's story. But it gets boring as it's actually just repetitive, but for my fav chara it's okay.
There's also something called twistune where you play rythm game there which is necessary for the weekly mission and to be honest it's gameplay of twistune is unique. I've been playing quite a few of rythm game, and for those rythm game fans, this game isn't mainly on rythm so it doesn't really have many soundtrack to play, but it's good for a change of pace.
Card System :
As this game is mainly on battle and lessons, cards are a necessity on this game especially if you want to win battle more easily, it's better to have more SSR cards coz they're more stronger than SR but sometimes it would make do if you only have one SSR (you'll be given one on the free gacha at the beginning, and you can reroll it as many times as you want to get your favorite chara, note : available free SSR are only from Heartsyabul & Savanaclaw)
Chara Design/Visual :
Chef kiss
I've been eyeing this game since last year but since it's in japanese and i can't fluently understand nor speak it, i waited for it to have english and to my surprise it's actually out!
The visual is what draws me in, like the SSR ones are particularly beautiful and pleasing to the eye.
Story plot / Chara story :
As i'm one of the people who actually enjoyed game stories, this is one of the reason i didn't play the japanese one. I have a tendecy to not read japanese when they're in front of me, but now since the english is out, i can read them! But some character's line are actually kind of exaggerated(?).
Rewards / Log In Bonus :
They're not very stingy on reward, but if you're not the patient type, maybe it can be coming as stingy. Log in bonus increased as you log in daily, like maybe if it's the first week 30 gems in total were rewarded but as you log in daily, it can increased 40 or 50 per week and so on
Gacha rate :
This is what everyone is waiting for.
I know the visual is nice and all but usually the visually pleasing ones are SSR on their groovy mode. Then is the gacha rate bad?
For me it's so-so, but for some unlucky souls out there, it can be considered bad or if you're lucky, you can say that the gacha rate is good.
I recommend that you saved up for the character that you want and sometimes SSR rate up banner that appeared almost everytime one is over, the card is available on standard banner. So, i recommend you piling up keys or gems.
Ps : every month in the shop, they renew items and i recommend getting the 250 gem that actually gives you 1 10 pull key and some extra starshard for LP.
The alchemy shop also renew monthly as they also sell 1 key in the price of 250 alchemy coin which normally cost like 450 for 1 key.
So save up alchemy coins and gems
I'm gonna end the review here as i know you're all getting bored of my review so toodles
This is a nice game and you don't have to be a master in japanese to read the full story as it is fully voiced, a very huge help to those who isn't adept in japanese. The gacha rate is quite normal as there are gacha games out there that is more brutal with little drop rate. You can get a guaranteed 4 star hero if you rolled 100 is a nice system as not everyone is lucky.
At the beginning of the game, you can actually pick any character you want, without worrying they're damage.
You also get a 4 star ticket of your own choice as well, so not like they'll throw you in without any. Just don't forget to gacha that 4 star hero ticket as they'll be a huge help to your game progress.
The storyline plot is nice, i enjoyed reading them through as usually otome games are full of sometimes chessy line and crappy storyline, but this one is not full of that. It's an action based game, so the story is of course action.
At first, i was reluctant to download it because sometimes japanese otome games aren't fully voiced and just have short words and leave it all to us for the reading (i'm not adept in japanese and only learned a bit), making me very confused and ended up uninstalling.
But this is recommended to all those who wants to play otome game but not into cheesy line and wanted action alongside, it's perfect!
(P.S prepare memory space up to 3 gb, because these type of game are usually huge in size as you progressed)
