Having played the first Deemo game, i immediately had to play this one when I saw that it was released. I have genuinely enjoyed playing and although i have yet to complete the game, i already cant wait to see what happens next!
I play a lot of rhythm games, and this one is definitely up there with my favs. I really enjoy the process of unlocking songs as you go along with the story, it adds so much more immersion. The characters all have different stories and unique personalities, it's very refreshing!
In terms of games like this overall, however, I do think the personalities are a bit repetitive. You have the determined leads, the calm and composed, etc. I know there's only so much you can do, but it does leave you wanting something new every now and again.
Overall, a wonderful game! Definitely good if you're just looking for good music and pretty characters
So I've used Webtoon for years and never once has it disappointed. With tons of stories and genres, there's something for anyone. Even the price of coins isn't super expensive, and when you use them it's always been worth it. There are other webcomic apps that can be used, sure, but I find Webtoon easiest to use with the best selection.
I downloaded this game a few days ago, not expecting a whole lot, but honestly I'm beyond impressed. Normally I dislike when the MC's personality is built for you, but this time I actually quite like it. She isn't made to be dainty and frail, like other games make their MCs.
I really enjoy the wide range of characters that are given, but honestly some of their personalities seem a bit bland or overused. The main love interests are all pretty generic when it comes to otome games, but hey, that's what the people like.
The art style is something that really popped out to me, it's unique and a bit rougher while still keeping them fanservice-y. The tiny versions of all the characters are absolutely adorable, I've honestly never wanted to hug a character in my life as much as I'd like to with these!
The rhythm aspect of the game has got to be one of my favorites yet. I love the fact that rather than being based more around pop music, it's more rock/metal. The songs themselves I really like, most of them are pretty catchy and I quite enjoy playing them.
The actual beatmaps are a bit underwhelming. They're definitely fun to play, but as someone who has played many rhythm games, they don't really meet my expectations (though I admit they're pretty high). The difficulty levels are all pretty easy, and with the way the game is set up, you can easily just play with your thumbs. Don't get me wrong, it's still very fun for me to play, I just have high standards
I just want Doppo cards, why are they so expensive!
Aside from that though, it's super fun! They add new songs often so you never run out, and in my opinion, there isn't a song in the game that's bad. Killer Scratch itself is pretty easy at the lower levels, but it gets very difficult later on.
As for story, I can't speak for the others but I do Shibuya, and personally I find it very interesting! I love the banter that goes on
Only get this game if you're willing to sell your soul!
