Ah ah ah, where to begin. Well I guess I'll disclaim that I'll try keeping this relatively short since theres plenty of other reviews beneath me. I'll keep the formatting minimal as well.

But honestly, everything they said is correct. The game is simply gorgeous, the notes are fluid, the maping is excellent, in fact I might enjoy it more than Bandori (Bang Dream). As a thumbs only player who loves high BPM maps, the challenge is definitely there. So high that sometimes once on occasion I'll hit a fever and clear a stage, only to confidently challenge it again and fail repeatedly. But I digress; the difficulty is suitable for a hardcore and casual audience with the wide array of music within its library. Some of the maps carry 3D MVs, some 2D, and some not at all (sadly, but oh well.) While you might be mainly focusing on the map instead of the background, the animations you can see through brief breaks are splendid and add that much more to the experience. I wish I could speak more of the story, but since this is JP I can't really. . . well. . . you know. But honestly, I'm fine with that. When Global eventually releases, I'll be glad to finally read what Miku has to say when I open the app for the first time.

Anyways, if even this brief review was a lot for you,

TL;DR - Lots of music, really fun and smooth maps, casual and hardcore audience, and a bunch of cute anime girls (and even dudes!) getting jiggy with it. What's not to like?

Seen this game picking up a bad reputation by some players, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents on this game, since I see it in a more positive light.

Obvious terms out of the way, there is no denying this game visually is beautiful and appealing, with most- if not every character receiving their own unique idle animation to be played in cutscenes and in lobby. Audio-wise, its nothing to write home about. Its not horrible, but not revolutionizing. Now the Gacha, which a lot of people are complaining about as far as I'm reading. . .

Long story short: It is gacha. You either roll good, or you roll bad. It's literally just Luck. And Rate-wise, the rates are not unfathomably bad as people make them out to be. Some games carry worse rates but the game is still beloved despite that, so I don't see why this game can't be any different. While I don't actively grind this game anymore, I will say the experience was enjoyable while I was still sucked into it. If you're able to stay committed, I gurantee you this is a solid Korean Gacha that will keep you going for a while.

EDIT: Talking out of my ass for half of this, so take this rating with a grain of salt. The amount of time I logged is probably much less than some people, but enough that I have a grasp of early to mid-game content.

The first Gacha Game I got so sucked into I downloaded the JP Version just so I can access content early. For a rhythm game, it brings a whole lot of satisfaction, with plenty of cover songs from both popular and nichè animes, as well as some banger originals that have made their way to my spotify playlist. (Afterglow and Roselia and their rock vibe is just grand!) On top of that, they craft such endearing characters that you can't help but adore and spend money trying to pull them. Worth while time investment, especially for people who just want to enjoy the WorldWide version naturally, since we get all the content in a year's time. Just that someone impatient like me wants to play some of the covers they already have, heh.

Overall a great rhythm game to drop in recent years. Can't wait to see how it'll grow.

Hyped! Super excited for this game when it releases! Saw the ads on twitter when I was working; as an avid rhythm-game fan, this fresh "spin" on the genre seems like a new step in an innovative direction. I love my traditional key games like Bandori and Project Sekai, but something like this? I cannot wait for its release!
