Very P2W but also F2P friendly as far as unit collecting is concerned.
You can collect all the units as a F2P, but your *2 limited unit won't do squat to the heavy spender's *6/*7 unit.
You can work around it and use universal(omni) shard to upgrade your *2 to *4 if you like it(or if it's meta, whichever you prefer) and somehow compete, but you won't be the top dog without spending, this is the cold hard truth. ![[汗顏]](/cdn/img/transparent.png){kind=spacer}
But if you like the franchise or would like to enjoy the VAs(like me) or whatever other non competitive reason, then definitely play it, it's not time demanding, play for 30-60 minutes a day, and you won't have anything left to do ingame.
Note(-) Bankai Renji won't be in the game unfortunately.
I think the game is kinda incomplete, if not broken.
Chat is only available in guilds and arena tier doesn't go up I think?
But if you like to gacha and this kind of graphics then this game worth trying, maybe.

Generous with gems, I've lost count but I did many-many 10x pull, got a fair amount of *5s too.
Voice acting and story is good, the humor cringy for me, but if you like a comedy where there's an idiot with no sense and a straight man, then maybe you'll find it funny.

As I said before, it's kinda broken or incomplete in some places..?
Another example is I can't find friend, when I use the search fiture it gives me players whose last login time is 100+ days.
I'm still able to enjoy it for the moment though, it's got features that's kinda fresh for me.
In this game there is no need for duplicate unit to upgrade to max stars, this is a big yes for me. HOWEVER on the other side of that coin lies feature(s) that requires you to deploy squad for hours(1/4/8) and if a unit is deployed you can't use em on PVE also you can have multiple squad, but 1 unit can't belong to more than 1 squad, meaning maybe in the end game you'll need some duplicate to compete? Also there's a raid that needs 24 units, which is nuts and cool. and there is 2 kind of PVP! Live and auto! Which again is nuts and cool. I'm not really into PVP but live PvP on a strategy game is cool.
So, I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
I'll make this short, there is a feature called ocean dungeon, it's the daily dungeon type with 10 floors and you can watch the replays of people who've cleared it and apparently if you clear the 10th floor it'll be announced, says nickname cleared floor 10 of xxx dungeon. So I saw one of these announcement and watched the replays, but in the replays they(the players) were getting one shotted by the mob. So why does it says they cleared it? I concluded it's some kind of cheat. Any question is welcome, I'll answer it with passion!
Now F2P, P2W doesn't concern me much, I'm old enough to accept that money will help you win almost anything, love, war, life, and games included, I can accept that, but cheat? Go to hell!
Again, I could be wrong, I hold off on uninstalling just so I can crosscheck for now. But I'm pretty much done! Nothing personal DEV. Peace out.
It's good, story battle could be better, for example when the story says Rimuru is going to stop the sky dragon in the cutscenes(that story clips/images before combat) in reality when we battle we are fighting against 2 spiders and an ant(IIRC) and that's a minus, I don't even mind the bugs they are barely an inconvenience. Overall a solid 4 star from me.
My suggestion is maybe to add a zone to farm fodder characters, I haven't reached the end yet so maybe it's already there and I just haven't unlocked it, but if it isn't the case then consider adding it. Also definitely add PvP when the game is stable. And fix the bad bug(s), the good bug(soul absorb stone thingy) can stay
