I just started playing a couple of days. This idle battle game doesnt seem to be all that different from the others out there. Except for the obvious male targeted graphics and a little bit of voiceovers. We'll see if this game has anything else to offer after giving it some more time.
Another game that brings my favourite messenger app LINE mascot characters to life. This time is a simple cooking simulation game. All the foods in each theme cafe looks so good, sometimes giving me a craving for it if I'm hungry enough
As with all cooking simulation games, there are upgrades to help you through the game, but the storyline is pretty short. The main focus is the cooking itself, which gets progressively harder as you advance to higher levels. There are so many levels in each cafe, that it can be quite repetitive if you are trying to rush through it. My advice is to take it easy.
It can be both fun and frustrating at the same time when you are trying to clear a challenging level, this requires you to be very responsive. Especially during the game event cafes, the customers can get impatient easily, and you have to churn out the foods real quick. At one point, I even started to think that I have to cook without moving my eyes away from the orders in order to make it work! Or maybe it's just me. Either way, this is a fun game to return to whenever you want to take a break.
A gacha card (food souls) collection game filled with pretty Ikemen, great plots and awesome voice acting!
This game has plenty of interesting features:
eg. unlock voice clips of each food soul - yes, you can keep all the captivating voices all to yourself
cooking food - depending on the food soul used, the end product created may have a certain kick to it
battle system - challenging battles that requires strategic use of the food souls and its skills
There is also plenty of game events that release new food souls at the same time. Usually these new food souls are designed to give you advantages during the event. If you are a serious player, you will need to plan ahead and save up the resources in advance. If you want to do well in the game, you will need to put in a lot of effort. It can be pretty overwhelming at times, so I choose to take a break from it every now and then.
For those who are familiar with the game Ace Attorney, you will find that this game has some similarities to it. You start off with a case, go around looking for clues and then debate about it front of the judge in a court. What's different is the addition of a simple card battle system. Couple it with some eye catching handsome guys and awesome voice acting, and you get yourself a great female oriented game!
After you have finished all the current story arcs, there is little you can do except to work on the daily/ weekly tasks to save up resources for the next game event. This may deter some players as it becomes an endless gacha card collection game before the next story arc is available. How long you stay with the game really depends on how much the male leads are attractive to you.
For anyone who loves picross, you will be delighted to find this game accompanied by beautiful and elegant graphics along with calming music. You can lose hours easily trying to solve challenging puzzles.
The game does have some minor issues however. The assisted highlighting of incomplete number clues may not be accurate at times, which may cause confusion to less advanced players. In the story (big) mode, there are times when the number clues given does not lead to a unique solution, so you may have to switch around between some cells to complete the puzzle.
The game does comes with ads, which is to be expected of a free to play game. But the ads will be removed when 90% of the game is completed. Now that's a nice bonus and motivation to complete the whole game!
