from ARGONAVIS – Kimi ga Mita Stage e

After 2 years, the Navigators finally get the game they deserve. It may not be a rhythm game but even KitaokaP-shachou said that he wanted KimiSute to focus more on the story other than music and I'm glad Ambition made that possible. ARGONAVIS' strong points are thwir music and stroytelling imo so this is just perfect. However, because the game is leans towards story driven elements, the oversead fanbase is reliant on fan translations. And thankfully, the fan translators work hard and fast.

Overall, great game, it's only been 2 days but this is showing so much promise imo. Looking foward to spending a decade playing this KimiSute.

For a rhythm game by a new developer and company, this is actually pretty good! If you take the time to translate some of the setting for rhe rhythm section, you can see that they put a lot of effort into the custimization features for the players which is very neat since each player has their own syle of playing. The graphics are good for a 2D game, kinda wished the sprites had more life to them and not just their mouths moving. And the songs they have are pretty neat! Most of these are some pretty old songs as far as I've researched, some dating back to the late 80's but I do hope that if the game gets more popular, they can cover more trendy and recent songs since they have such a stellar voice cast who have amazing vocals. On the voice cast as well, really wished the whole main story was fully voiced and I am disappointed that it isnt but I guess they didn't have the money to pay the seiyuus for more voicelines but I do hopw they can update that in the future. Overall, it's great! For a newcomer to the rhythm game scene it's quite well done!

HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE! | Global

I've definitely come to love this game on it's own. I think what disappointed me is how the the localization of ProSeka was marketed to people who are, and I don't mean to be rude, shallow. Shallow in a way that gives the impression the international fans of Vocaloid related works/projects only know Hatsune Miku, which is very untrue. Another problem I have are the choices being made with the now official translated dialogue, but some of these appear to have been resolved in a few updates so I can let it slide now. Overall, this game is still so good, I still have difficulty coping up wirh unlocking all the units' stories but that's totally fine by me since it's part of the game mechanics. This is also the most expensive price I've seen for gacha pulls but fair enough, there's no dupe system. Bottom like, the game is amazing but it should've been marketed still as PROJECT SEKAI.

Ngl, I think what I love about A3! is the premise and the story. It's has a rather unique premise in the mobage community (theater, and iirc Revue Starlight (?) is the only other game that has this?) and the stories don't disappoint, maybe on the first read but rereading them over and over makes me realize how fitting the story and characterization can be. That doesn't mean it's a perfect game. I used to get pissed when people who decide to drop the game say it's because of the lack of gameplay but I can understand why. Compared to other games which need strategy and skill, A3! needs strategy and sheer willpower to stay alive while tiering for your oshi(s). But in the end, it kinda balanes out the idea of being able to get at least 1 copy of an SSR while racking up points in event(?). Iirc, most other games make the highest rarity card gacha only. In short, come for the cute cast of actors, stay for the intriguing stories, diverse music, and it's-all-fun-and-games-until-you-have-tier-for-your-oshi(s) gameplay.

ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside

It's been a month and I gotta say that until now I am still enjoying the game as it is and for what it is. Sure there are still some bugs and glitches that need to be addressed but I don't really mind. I'm not very particular with these sorts of things since not every game is perfect and it's still a new game after all. I'm just here vibing and appreciating the game as it is and I'm definitely having fun. And yes, it is painful to see how much shit the game gets from other reviews but those weirdos are only focused on one aspect of the project and can't appreciate it as a whole so sucks to be you lol.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
It's been a little more than 7 months since the release, and I gotta say, we have seen some of the best and worst. And here's my personal list...
I'll start with the worst:
I wasn't bothered being thrown out of Co-op before but I sure as hell am now, most especially during the LRFes Event... And truth be told, I actually don't know if it's my internet connection that's the problem or the server since there were others having the same problem, both InterNavi and JPNavi. I hope there will be an improvement for this soon.
This is more of a gray area but while I'm glad that the MVs are improving, most especially the stitching and transitions of the cover MVs, I kinda wish that we had a different scenery when it comes to the stage. Not just the diffences in stage size; like outdoor stages, most especially during the Summer related events. Let the boys outdoors and feel the heat of the sun or the cool air of the night or something.
Still in the gray area but I was hoping for summer outfits. The boys are still in their usual casual clothes and it looks a little to warm in those during the summer... But I guess 3D modeling is hard so I won't force it to happen. At least we got some cards that have them in summer appropriate attire? Sure, they were at the beach and all that but I was expecting more skin to be shown... but I guess that shows you how AAside doesn't need that kind of art to have amazing card sets.
The best I've seen:
This has been part of the game since Day 1 but the spark system is really helpful for a hardcore and patient F2P player like me. Not only that, grinding for Navistones is relatively easy if you can strategize well
The was Co-op was implemented with a song that has the entire band singing... I was very symbolic of how 5 people enter the room having to work together for a common goal and I thought it was wonderful
Subjective but I most certainly adore AAside's artstyle and the card sets just keep improving
There have also been beneficial updates like the slight change to the interface(? or whatever the cycling through the sharehouses menu is called), the loading time is faster now, many costume updates, and the story pacing is quite impressive. As of making this, we are at Hoshizora Parade event and I was not expecting 'flashback' cards this early into the game. There's so much lore in these cards and how each character's characterization can be analyzed from these is just- there's so much to go over and I am loving it.
Bottom line, we have some ups and downs, some downs that may put a lasting impression but I hope this won't stop anyone from playing or wanting to play AAside because every other aspect is worth it, and please do support the ARGONAVIS project as a whole.
