The Tale of Food | Global

4.8

The graphics are amazing and the characters have really good diversity. The soundtrack is really nice but it's not exactly something noticeable personally, though it is still very pleasant. The gameplay and storyline so far are very enjoyable, with the gameplay being a little more unique from the games I've played so far, though admittedly it may not be a lot, and the storyline being one to pique my interest. I'd say this game is a really wonderful game from what I've experienced so far!

Honestly speaking Ensemble Stars' music really got me hooked to listening to other Rhythm games' original songs because this game really made me pause and actually listen with how much of a bop they are! The actual gameplay is pretty great, a little common but I can't say it's bad at all!

The storyline has captivated me so far, and although it is still ongoing, so far it's been interesting. The gameplay itself is a little difficult and repetitive but everything else pretty much make up for it!

One of the games with the best gacha rates honestly, and the character(cookie?) designs are amazing, and despite how it seems like it's aimed for younger audiences, the storyline and the plot are still engaging, and tidbits of plot and character stories are beautifully written. I love the concept of being able to create a kingdom and even though designing things are not my expertise, it's always fun to move around the buildings to make it look like a decent or nice kingdom. I will confess that the music didn't catch my attention too much, but the voice acting is amazing. The gameplay, while fun, gets a tad repetitive and I'm not much of a fan of it but it's my personal preference, I'm sure many find the gameplay fun and wonderful.

Okay, I shall lay down here what I personally feel about this game. The graphics are beautiful, and even if I'm not a fan of reusing the same body type for a category of characters, like say one body type for "Adult male" and one for "Young female" and so on, the diversity of personality and characterisation helps me look past it. The storyline is what I fell in love in after playing the game, and the open world mechanics and gameplay are what got me into trying the game. The gacha is not so bad, for me at least, even if you may not get the character you like now, you can always try for their rerun even if it may take a while. I do not follow the meta, I play the characters I like and strengthen them when I want, so whether this character needs to be buffed or nerfed is something I am not too knowledgeable about. The music in this game is just beautiful, and I could spend hours listening to the soundtrack even though I don't usually listen to music without lyrics.

I love this game a lot! It's fun and the songs are nice to listen to. The gacha rate is good, better than a few rhythm games I know, and even though I'm not a fan of having some gachas locked behind a paywall, I don't really mind too much as they're pretty generous with the non-paid ones. I will admit that the characters pique my interest and they all seem lovely and wonderfully written, but I will confess that I'm not too thrilled by the storyline as it feels a tad similar to many games I've played, "The young and happy group wins the big competition while the other groups, most notably the group made up of professionals/more successful and well known group, lost and got a revelation about what their group's motivation and whole work should be about"

Other than that, I love the characterization, the gameplay is smooth and doesn't lag at all despite the effects, and the discs' existence delights me to no end and I love their parts. Not a fan of the slider, but only because I keep mistapping and somehow accidentally getting it from one side to the other, which is more of my own bad than the game.

Identity V | Global

4.4

Identity V is honestly one of my favourite games out there, the recent release of the continuation of the plot was something I waited for eagerly and I was not disappointed. Although the gacha rates is something that I am constantly in pain over, as they are purely cosmetic, it doesn't affect gameplay and after being moody about not getting this limited skin for my favourite character for a while, I get over it. A lot of people are saying the game is survivor-sided and as I play Survivors more than Hunters, I don't think I should say anything about it, especially since my skill as a survivor is only average and I'm not the most skilled player out there. The community is one of the things I don't quite like about the game, there are wholesome and nice players, I've witnessed that and will always be grateful for having met and interacted with them, but there's also a concerning amount of toxic players that are just a big mood-downer after they open their mouth for more than a minute.

Overall, I'd say this game isn't perfect, but as long as you play it for the motivation of having fun, then it's really enjoyable. [開心]

TEARS OF THEMIS | Global

5.0

This game is one actually one of the best otome games I've played, and although grinding for S-Chips can get difficult, it's not too big of a problem. I love the storyline, it's interesting and engaging, and the characters are so very well written, all of the ROs are three dimensional and wonderful, and the interactions with them (and also the little interactions with DAVIS in the new update) are adorable and sweet.
