Sevens Story

4.0

MAIN SELLING POINT OF THE GAME: AMAZING AND UNEXPECTED COLLABS

graphics: pretty decent, though original chara design doesn't really suit to my tastes. but collab chara designs are awesome. collab is pretty much the reason i'm interested at this game.

sound: calming and light hearted music for a rpg, my most favorite are main menu and gacha menu music.

gameplay: this is where things get pretty rough. for those who played/known/tried alchemist code, ffbe, FFtactics, sevens story is a simpler version of those game. playing your favorite chara(i always use collab charas) are definitely enjoyable, but for the most part, it can be skipped/auto-ed except for high difficulty raid boss and arena. simply put, its pretty boring for me, and it made me leave the game for quite a few times before coming back during a new collab again.

story: i don't read story as neither i can't read japanese, nor i want to waste my time google translating every line, but i guess the story should be pretty good.

gacha: the rates are 3.2% for normal banner, 6.4% for festival banner, and 3.2% for collab banner. 0.8% rate up for 1 character, so rate up percentage depends on how many featured character there are. personally, i would recommend doing pulls ONLY on collab banners, since recently they have been doing a LOT of collab for the past 6 months(there are 5 actually, little busters on june, princess connect on july, bofuri on september/october, clannad on november, and angel beats on december). the currency however, are not that easy to get, but we can get around 3-4 multi every collab which is nice.

TLDR:
I'm pretty much still an amateur gameplay wise, i don't know much about how the game works(idk who to ask cuz the game's not popular), but this game is a decent side game, nothing more.

pros:
-awesome graphics for an otome style KOF
-gacha rates and currency are decent, better than most gachas

cons:
-literally 0 gameplay, i can say that this game is almost purely KOF dating sim and that's about it. selling point of the game is only KOF ikemen version, nothing else
-i can't read japanese and i'm sure most of us non japanese speaker can't either, and it's bad for us non japanese speaker to be unable to read the story without having to translate every single line(this is a dating sim game so being able to read story is #1 priority imo)

the only good thing about this game is super sexy husbando and that's it imo, gameplay is unappealing for the most part, super low gacha income, low gacha rate, a lot of untranslated story(even if they do, some people are too lazy to read and rather skip to farm stones and stuff like me), and if i have to say it, this game's mostly husbando cashgrab.
For upcoming players, consider this. if you have at least 2 out of 3 of these criteria:
-you have low self control on gacha games(this one's fatal)
-you're a husbando collecting addict
-you're f2p
Then i don't suggest you playing this game, as you'll most likely gonna have a bad time saving up gacha currency without spending them for months and wasting them all for nothing. 2% rate for 5 star character btw.
but everything's up to your own judgement, and i won't stop you. housamo is one of a kind husbando gacha you won't find anywhere else, i personally am still having hope that one day, either improved gacha rate or major improvement on gacha currency farming(before 3rd anniversary it used to be MUCH worse, no weekly mission reward).
I recommend to just look up for some husbandos illustration on twitter, or visit housamo wiki to satisfy your need better than plunging deep into gacha hell.

TLDR: not recommended for those who only wants to collect husbando. you need to enjoy every aspect of this game(story, music, gameplay, even gacha bitterness) or you'll end up frustrated as time goes on. stamina takes forever to refill, 8 mins for 1 stamina, basically most of the time you'll probably only play for 10-15 mins every day.

first off, the gacha rates are ok, has a better rate up percentage than most gacha games(3% for UR, 1.5% for rate up UR).
it definitely lacks in terms of gameplay, as it is one of the common turn based type gacha.
the girls are enjoyable, they're cute and pretty and i like most of them.
overall a decent game, but mostly a side game. for some reason i can't bring myself to actively play this game, i always log in only to clear daily 1 hour before reset.

left the game after samsho collab ended last year, cuz i barely know anything about the game. went back during WWE collab and i'm super glad that i did, been playing actively since then

edit on 30 december 2020= huge powercreep starts today. f2p won't survive long, and beginners will mostly get discouraged due to how p2w it is.

love this game, date a live is my first anime back in 2013 and i fell in love instantly.
although the gacha rate is low and currency are hard to get, everything else besides that are great.
i love the date feature the most

edit: left the game due to horrible monetization, not gonna bother saving up forever for abyssmal gacha drop rate especially on limited banners.
this game is super generous for p2w, and super terrible for f2p.

Hero Cantare | Global

2.8

started playing 2 months ago, the game was still really enjoyable for f2p. but sadly, it has been going the p2w route by releasing live pvp and $$$ only costume which give dual attribute for a hero.
its getting harder and harder everytime for f2p to survive, you need to be super strategic to use your enhancement resources or you're going to be stuck for a while. you also need to follow the meta for pvp, since almost everyone are using very similar lineup with each other, and some specific units are always used because apparently they're broken.
also, since global chat is a thing, be prepared for any kind of toxic community, especially as a beginner. most of the time other players will properly help them, but sometimes there are trolls who will recommend them to build bad heroes. if you're planning to try this game/a beginner and want to have a peaceful gaming with your favorite webtoon character, i'd suggest you to just leave(worst case scenario), or at the very least try finding the perfect time for asking guidance as a beginner.

TLDR:
1.love webtoon&have $$$ to spend?=perfect game for you.
2.love webtoon but no $$$ to spend?=try having as much fun as possible, this game requires a lot of brain cells and patience.
3.doesn't like/know webtoon but have $$$ to spend?=might worth trying, artstyle is good(imo) and pvp is super advantageous for p2w.
4.doesn't like webtoon AND no $$$ to spend?=stay the fk away, a lot of better gacha game exist out there.

btw i already left the game
