The gameplay is nothing special, it's just Bandori with more annoying sliders, which I'm still getting used to, but otherwise good gameplay. I also had luck with the gacha so far (rate up isn't a lie!!!).
The songs are great, as you'd expect from the team responsible for Bandori, although I've been limiting myself to Fantôme Iris songs so far, I heard some of the others when they were announced for the game before it's release.
I'm torn on the graphics, because on one hand the cards are really beautiful and I love the artstyle, but on the other hand the 3D models are disgusting and don't do the characters justice. Honestly I just play with my profile card as the background, I don't wanna bother with glitchy MVs when the models look like shit. The interface is clean though, I'll give them that.

I didn't know what to expect when I downloaded the game. All I knew was that it had cute anime boys and seeing the number of them, I assumed it's gonna be gacha hell all over again.

I wasn't wrong, but I was also pleasantly surprised at how well-written the characters are and how interesting the story is.

Graphics: The sprites are really beautiful and the character designs are amazing, my favorite designs being of Quincy and Nine (They just look perfect in everything, like how???). One minor issue I have is that the sprites are constantly in just one pose, which is very boring, but other than that the game is very pretty. Also the chibis own my soul, they're absolutely adorable.

Sound: The sound effects are okay, the music is forgettable. I accidentally thought the game was Japanese because of the anime aesthetic, so I thought the Japanese voice acting was the original and that's the one I listened to. The voice acting was... mediocre. There weren't any particularly stellar personalities, but I can say that I didn't like some of the voices, June and Kati being the worst offenders. Might rank it up more once I listen to the Korean voices.

Gameplay: It's simple, and that's just the way I like it. You get cards in the gacha, you train them using several procedures, you let them beat up some spirits. Simple, fun, the gacha is fair and you can save on gems by doing 10 pulls at a time, and you can earn a free random SSR after 50 pulls overall. The events are also friendly to newer players, allowing you to earn the same amount of event points by doing the lower stages of the event, meaning you can get the rewards and possibly rank even if your cards are still weak.

Storyline: Absolutely lovely. I love the characters, I love the concept, the world building is great, I may have cried a little too much in chapters 4 and 5, the personal stories build on the characters really well, and reading the stories is just as fun as the rest of the game, if not moreso depending on the story. my personal favorite is the personal story Cotton Candy Demon, the story for one of Quincy's SSR cards. The dialogue is hilarious and was a lot of fun to read through, and it even showed a softer side to the character that you rarely see.

Anyway, great game, praise our demon lord Quincy, go play it and join me in gacha hell as I try to get Aitachi's new SSR with the little dragon and it's very cute and-

I like picross games, they're quite relaxing. What I like about this one specifically is that it has this calm ethereal aesthetic combined with the beautiful artwork to create what is the best picross mobile game I played!

While the levels are not that difficult, there is a lot of them, so you'll be spending a while with this game. My only real issue is the lack of 15×15 levels, as someone who plays these kinds of games a lot and usually plays 15×15 or 20×20.

Overall, nice gameplay, nice aesthetic, if you like puzzle games you'll enjoy this one.

The game is very simple, and it works to it's advantage. The matches don't require much thinking in the earlier stages, so you can multitask between this game and doing something else.
The music is kinda eh at times, which is a shame considering the anime it's based on thrives on it's amazing music, but I play on mute most of the time so it doesn't bother me.
Great graphics, love some of the SR/SSR card designs, and the chibis own my heart. I have the Halloween Atsushi card and the card is so pretty and the chibi is so cute and when he uses the special skill the little animation is too adorable.
The storyline is essentially the same as BSD the anime, so it's really good for what is basically a visual novel with a gacha and a minigame.
The game is free, provides like an hour of fun a day once you reach the point where you don't rank up every other round, and free is a great price.

For context: I came into this game not knowing anything about Hypnosis Mic other than "it exists" and "Ramuda is pink Ouma". I downloaded it because I have 2 friends who are obsessed with the franchise and knew I like rhythm games, so they told me to try it.

The game downloaded pretty fast, which surprised me as someone who is used to the insanely long downloads of other games of this nature, and then I realized the reason when the game finally loaded: it was close to empty.

The songs:
The songs are great, really made me interested in getting into HypMic, and I wouldn't have any complaints had it not been for the fact that there are only like 7 songs, some of which haven't even released all of their parts at launch. Speaking of the parts mechanic, I like it a lot. it basically allows you to pick your favourite part in a song and loop that if you want, and it also allows for more maps to FC/AP, despite the amount of songs being limited. Still, can't wait for more songs to be added.

The gameplay:
I've played rhythm games with varying controls, from near perfect like Bandori and Enstars Music (aka anything that rips off LLSIF controls), to painfully bad like Idolish7, and even some with unique gameplay like Voez and Lost in Harmony. I have to say: the gameplay is the best part of this game. It takes the half circle shape of LLSIF but makes the interface nicer to look at, making it look like a disk at a DJ stand, and there's also the scratcher which makes a scratch noise while also moving said disk, which makes the gameplay more fun. It's also the first game of this kind where I didn't immediately look for ways to turn off the video and character pop-ups right away, because those weren't as distracting to me as they are in Bandori for example. In the end, it makes for aesthetic gameplay that is fun to play and to look at.

The UI:
Who designed this? I wanna know. I wanna have a word with that person. Why is it so ugly? Why is it that the event shop is in the regular shop section, and you can't go back to the event page? Why is the same happening with event missions? The waiting time between each tap is forever, so it feels like a chore to even get back to the song section if you left it.

Other:
It takes too much grinding to get SSRs in events, if you want me to get the card you should make it at a reasonable amount. No I'm not salty about not getting mage Saburo (okay I really am, that card is too cute and Saburo is the only Yamada I don't have in SSR).
One last nitpick I have with both this game and a few others: Why is it so difficult to let the stuff you get from regular missions go directly to your inventory, rather than forcing you to go to the main screen and then the mailbox? Can't I just get my crystals and go?

Do yeah, neat gameplay and songs, just a little too small and the package is too ugly.
