This game is pretty fun, if you like games like Epic Seven. Because this game heavily relies on the gear systems that are similar to Epic Seven, where you'll need to keep in mind both the main & sub stats of the weapons and also the gear sets.
Most of the arts / graphics are Live2D, so that's always something nice (/^▽^)/. Although many people said that the art here are mediocre and there are better games on the market with better graphics, but for me the art here are enough for me to enjoy the game.
The gameplay or battle systems are fairly a bit similar to a recent upcoming game that is Blue Archive, and also a little bit of Princess Connect! Re:Dive. During the battle, the characters are all chibis, and the skill cut animation only happens like once a day or somethin (idk how to enable it, it was available during the tutorial but after it, it justs disappears ( ˃̵⌓˂̵))
The gacha.. I don't know what to say. It's 2% for an SR, and it's better than most games gacha rates. But fot some reason, I got 3 アイリン (Irene) SR (´-ι_-｀). And dupes are not a good thing early game imo.
But the thing that really stresses me out is that, during the battle it has a 30% chance for the Unit to do some random shenanigans like:
- Attacking random enemies
- Skipping a turn
- Using your skills
While you are on Manual-Mode, I don't know if it is an intended thing that is available in the game. (Like taunts, provoke, stun, etc). Nevertheless it has costs me many losses during play-through ( ˃̵⌓˂̵).
Overall, this game is really a good game to spend your time with during this pandemic (and also waitin for Genshin to be released ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))
Really recommend for you to try it out, if you know a little bit of Japanese. And I'm hoping for a Global release in the near future!

For me, the arts in this game is somewhat gorgeous to say the least. It has a couple of character designs that are gorgeous, but there are some that is not my cup of tea ◕‿◕.
The story mode, is pretty interesting I guess but most of the time I just skipped it.
The gameplay, for me is pretty exciting to do especially the Guild Battles (Where you'll do 15v15 battle against another player at the given time everyday). It uses a card system type of thingy of 20 weapons of different elements that rotates every once in a while if you've already used it all.
The music in this game is also great, you could feel the vibes of post-apocalyptic style music in this game. Such as Nier:Automata, Draakengard, etc.
Now, for the most important part.. Is this game P2W ?
In my opinion: I think that this game really revolves around the Guild Battles, and in order to increase your battle power fast you will need to roll the Grimoire (Gacha) and hope that you'll get the SR weapons as much as possible. Otherwise it'll take a pretty long time to greatly increase your battle power and to be able to compete on the guild battles.
The gacha rate is also not as good as other gacha games if you compared it to Azur Lane or even Arknights. I have a friend that rolled about 4k Gems (about 13 x10 rolls, and he only got 2-3 SR's from it) Although this game do have a pity system, in which you'll need to approximately roll on the most recent gacha banners (that uses the same pity currency) about 15 x10 rolls in order to buy a single SR weapon.
And also in order to P2W, the price of the deals that are being offered in this game are pretty expensive to say the least, and for me the one to get the most value is the Monthly pack.
So, for me I think this game is really P2W heavy if you want to compete with the top guilds out there. Which is the most important aspect of this game (The PvP aspect). But if you only want to chill and do the story modes, then I guess it could be fun I guess.
P.S: It also have a Co-op system aswell, so you could join with other players during an event or story mode.
The game is by far the most chill and exciting gacha game that I've ever played. From it's official global release until now, I'm still actively grinding on this game non-stop.
Because it's sanity system is pretty decent for a F2P player, and the gacha rates are not too punishing aswell for F2P player although there are some ups and downs moments if you're hoping to get all of the operators. (But, a chance to get a 5*++ every 10 rolls on a new banner are pretty great. Although if you don't get the Op that you are looking for, it could get increase the salt within you sometimes.)
And you'll get a chance to roll 10x every 2-3 weeks or so if you don't grind the originium shards, plus the other way to get some of the 6* you could get it from the Recruit System (Which you'll be able to do every day, and as of right now I have gotten all of the 6* Ops that are available through the Recruit System)
Overall, the P2W aspect of this game is not too punishing (heck, you could even say that there are no P2W aspect in this game if you just want to progress into the story). Because you could go through the story and also events by using 3-5* operators, and also by watching guides on Youtube easily
And as of right now, I have not spent a single dime on this game. Which makes me a fully F2P player, and in my opinion this game is really a great game to spend your time during the quarantine phase that we are in right now :c.
If you're looking for some Tower-Defense Action, like Plant vs Zombies but replace the Plants with Beautiful Anime Grills ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), then this game is the one for you.

4.8My overall review of this game after reaching AR18 on PC is that, this game could be enjoyed without having to worry about tier lists or meta as of right now (but i've heard that there will be end-game content that could be hard achieve without using a certainn type of gear). But nevertheless, is possible to do the end-game content as a F2P player. (๑•̀ᴗ-)
The gameplay is smooth on pc, and while you're at it you should try out to play using a controller. The devs have done a great job optimizing their controller support for the game (I used PS4 Controller). However for Mobile users, you really have to have a really high specs in order to play Genshin really smoothly, although most of the time I just the Mobile version to grind out the resins or claim the expeditions.
The graphics.. is really amazing for a developer that makes gacha games. It really feels like a AAA game when you are playing the game (I get BoTW vibes by playing this game, *and thats a good thing*)
Now, are the rates bad ?
In my opinion, I think the rates are fairly manageable. Some of my friends got a 5* on their very first pull (You could feel the salt within me), there are also some of my friends that got a duplicate 4* in a row. So, it could be said that the gacha rates are a bit bad, but the good news is.. this game has a pity rate that'll give you a guaranteed 5* on the 90 pulls of the banner (I think). It'll be recommended to save your Prima Gems until you could pull till you could achieve the system.
If you're starting the game out with a 4*, it's not really like the end of the world for you. As long as you are having fun while playing the game.
A tip for you is to play it for the Waifus, not the meta. Because in the end, Genshin Impact is a PvE game that also has a Co-Op system in it. So you do not need to care as much about the meta, as long as you're happy then everything is alright.
I really recommend you to try out the game, if you're looking for similar games like BoTW (and also could manage the systems requirements for the game. *because it really is taxing for my potato phone ( ˃̵⌓˂̵)).
