Final Fate TD | Global

I have mixed feelings with this game. It gives me the same vibe as League of Angels I played years back. Long story short, game is to advance, you'll have to pay. You can get VIP for free by completing dailies to earn the exp but it'll take some time. In my opinion VIP doesn't help much anyway, recharge (paying) do. Now I understand that money is needed to maintain the game but when your progress depends too much on recharging, it takes the fun away. This being easier TD game compare to Arknights is not helping either. But that's just me ┐( ∵ )┌

The first time I turn my sound on during playing I turn it off back. Plus points are probably the beautiful graphic of the characters and storyline that intrigues me. Gacha rate is so-so. Supplies given are quite okay but as I said above, to progress more is to recharge. Unless you don't mind a slow progress (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

One thing that I hate the most in the game is the level up system. Levelling up is good and reaching certain level unlock the skip battle but that also means you're entering ranking with same level p2w players with much more BR than you. This is where the difference shows the most; better rewards will be much harder to get and it's lower compare to when you're in previous level. Don't get me wrong; there is nothing wrong with p2w (heck I spend some in other games too) but I wish leveling up won't be as fast as it is now 乁( •_• )ㄏ

Still, this is a fun game to play. Casually, of course, without minding too much about ranking and progressing fast (θ‿θ)

Helios Rising Heroes

Helios Rising Heroes

4.8

A refeshing gameplay when most you've been playing is more-read-to-proceed-than-battle games. I play FGO and I have to say I like this battle style more. Perhaps the animations during Burst? The way each 4* got their own animation is really, really nice. Whatever it is, that's a plus point for sure~ (θ‿θ)

The interaction between characters is fun to read and storyline is great! There are times when the heroes are happy and sad, laugh and (somewhat) cry. I enjoy reading the chapters (so far). The characters are easy to love...except one who I shall not name. Lol. But I'm not gonna lie I'm starting to like him. Now if only he's not being so mean to my 2nd favorite... (≧▽≦)

Gacha rate is quite okay. I wish there's a separate gacha for hero and frame but current one is fine. It is still hard to get 4* though but pulling 10 increase your chances in getting one. Sometimes you'll be spook with 3* and 4* in one go ʘ‿ʘ The game is generous with supplies as long as you do your tasks and it's f2p friendly too; your progress as always will be slower but it'll move forward (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

Other things that I like in the game are the dress-up of heroes and decorating your room. The heroes drop by for a visit and you can gift them during their visit. They will use some of the items and comment on them too. Another plus point is the ability to pick them up and spin them around until they're dizzy (≧▽≦)

Obey Me! Shall we date?

Come live with 7 brothers that represent the 7 si...I mean avatar of Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Sloth and Gluttony with the side ikemens (which sadly won't be part of your harem) of Devil Prince, OP Butler, a Sweet Angel, a pro-baker Chihuahua and You're-Hiding-Something-Don't-You human wizard. Tire yourself in the dance battle as you progress through the storyline and grit your teeth in frustration when you can't proceed on the lesson as your team is weak and you're broke as hell in resources to upgrade. Oh. And experience the exhaustion and saltiness in not being able to pull the UR cards in the non-stop, never-ending events this game has.

....Jk,jk~ ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ Let's review properly now. As an otome game and fan of said genre, I'm not disappointed with this game. Setting aside the somewhat boring but cute gameplay (dance battle with the opponent with no skip button unless some condition are met), this is a very fun game. I've always like collaboration between different artists in a game so it's nice to see the different styles in this game's cards. The sound is great, both bgs and voice acting. The storyline makes you don't want to stop reading although there are some plot holes (in my opinion) in it. Be prepared for a lot of mushy and cringey lines. Huehuehue~ (◔‿◔)

You can progress as a f2p player just fine although just like it other games, it will take longer compare to p2w players. It's quite hard to move to higher tier in events unless you whale or a diligent player. I wish the duration of event can be longer for me to be able to collect more points for reward though. All in all, it's a good game. Just...please devs, tone down with the events a tiny bit; I need time to recover both my HP and resources... ಥ‿ಥ

EDIT: Lately the loading screen is taking forever to load; Genshin Impact loads faster. That kills the mood to play and is one from some reasons my interest lessening... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But I still love Satan. h u h u h u

EDIT 2: Well, well, well. Seems like everyone can be in your harem now. Congrats,MC ( ╹▽╹ )

Mystic Messenger | Korean

Among all the games I play, this game took the prize in being able to make me wake up during ungodly hours just to answer husbando phone call. See my love for you, bois? (◕ᴗ◕✿)

Graphics, sound, gameplay and storyline are great. Characters are amazing. I feel like playing Story of Seasons since both is giving me hard times to choose which route to go first. Lol. Plot is deep and I love how dev takes time to explore more into story of each characters. In-game items are okay in price and I wouldn't mind spending some since it's worth my time reading...although my sleeping hours might not agree with that.

I haven't play for a long time but now that I've reinstall the game back, it's time to figure out what my account is...if I can... ಥ‿ಥ

Psycho Boyfriends - Otome game

Ah, one of the first game I got from this dev and now wanting more to play of their English translated VNs. One can read further into the story after a one time purchase. Let's see...

Story is staying true to its title; it's about guys who are infatuated with MC and go great length just so she can be theirs. The plot is full of twists and turns with multiple endings. Dang, how wrong my impression is with both main guys. It made my love and hate towards them did a complete 360° turn. Lol. I kinda don't like the MC but seeing how she's treated at school, it's understandable. But holy llama that level of bullying is just too much. No teachers questioning it is making things odd.

Graphics, illustration for CGs and characters design are nice. Not really a fan of the sound effect but dev did a good job on voice acting. To be honest I'm not sure about the gacha but being able to feast my eyes on arts of ikemen is great. Plus there's side story for each cards to read. Still not into completing my collection though. Lol. Anyway, I enjoy my read of this VN. Now waiting patiently for 2nd season to be translated and released~ (ㆁωㆁ)

Promise of Wizard | Japanese

Let's make this short (I think hehe); I like this game even when the gameplay is kinda boring (it helps me to fall asleep). The add-on cooking for the wizards session is very fun....although the ingredients hoarding is a pain in the bum to do. Geh.

The sound is awesome and that includes the voice acting. Plot is intriguing and the wizards' pasts are just something I'm dying to know. This game is kinda dark even with all the colourful outfits we're getting for them chibis. Gacha rate makes me sad but not as salty as FGO. The events thrown are pretty good.

Player can pick either male or female as their Sage. Characters, mains and support are loveable. Yes, that includes Owen. But none will top my favourite Mithra. Huehuehue~~ (͡°‿ ͡°)

Although this game is more into learning about and getting along with the wizards with no romance (?), I recommend the game for the plot and characters growth/story/interaction. You can always ship your CP anyway~ (ㆁωㆁ)

Love in Hell : Otome Game Romantic Thriller

As always from this dev, their VNs are adapted from Korean version; voice acting (very nice work in this) is in said language. For once after all the global version of their games, this VN's main guys are in completely different style. The side charas are the same style as earlier games though (lol teacher, you switched to kinda-yakuza now? ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ ).

Unlocking locked chapters (one time purchase unlocking all current and future chapters) is via watching ads. This is an ongoing project; a lot is still under translation (there's still no ending available to read as I type this) and not available to read. Plot is interesting although some who are not fond of messy translation might find this a turn off (dev fix the translation from time to time as in their other VNs).

I play only English and Japanese voiced VNs before. Having to know Korean ones (aside MysMe) is nice. Though I have to say expect the unexpected (plot and character-wise) in some of this dev games~ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Only Girl in High School: Otome Game

It's a VN with Korean voiced story where choices are right away showing you which route you're going with when choosing one. The translation might be wacky but devs already mentioned English is not their first language. It's still understandable though.

MC is....interesting just like the main guys in the game. The story is funny with hints of BL for some (won't spoil though huhu). The chapters after free ones are locked but you can access them after watching ads. Endings are not complete as I write this. I guess they're still translating those chapters. Personally I enjoy my read very much~ [開心]
