When I first downloaded the game, I thought it was going to be a copy of "AFK Arena" or the like, based on how it looks, but it wasn't. The gameplay is pretty good, more along the lines of enhanced battlefield tactics; the team combos that the game provides can really turn things around, giving it sort of a Final Fantasy: Tactics feel, but with an automatic attack deal.
The animations are suitable, a few of the characters don't have movement to their sprites, which gets me from time to time, but no bother. The movement can suck sometimes, not being able to move a character to a space that is clearly highlighted, but meh.
It's a decent game to pass the time with, and definitely suggest topping up for a few heroes.
It's weird (⊙_◎), but I keep coming back to this game; I've been foing that for years, and yet, it 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 gets old. It's a great tap tap game with a simple, interesting plot.
The attacks some of the blobs have are really goofy, like the Pirate blob uses his parrot to attack!🤣 It's a pretty solid game. It does get slightly easy for the most part, but brings you back.
Another Genuis, Inc. VN I've played. The storyline is HIGHLY reminiscent of the Anime "Nekopara", but with a strange twist. Dogs needing bells to roam around? Nekopara. Café...CHOCOLA? ( ̄ヘ ̄)ᴴᴹᴹᴹ
They could have done much better than what they provided, and given them each their own individual endings, not the same one, but slightly reiterated.
It's quite reminiscent to plenty of the old school 8-bit games, but with a current RPG twist. The different varieties of mossions are great, especially when you have to continue with the gameplay in order to complete missions you've went through before.
The level up aspect is good, as you can control who's level you want to be higher, but more controlled. The characters are well made, their standard weapons are unique, and their special techniques are great for control of battles.
The miniscule "card system" the game has doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really helps in the long run. The boosts the cards provide can bring forth "class" possibilities, like creating tanks, powerhouses, etc. I highly recommend this game if you're a huge RPG fan, and/or older 8-bit games excite you.
I've ALWAYS have been a fan of the games from Genius, Inc. for a long time, and I'm close to almost playing and completing all of their games! But this game was nice! The music depending on the dialogue is top notch, the character development is right where it needs to be, and there are twists where you'd NEVER know where they'll come from.
