Genshin Impact

4.4

Lot's of you weebs are going to get mad at me for saying this but this is by far one of the worst games I've played. It suffers from the case of overpromising and underwhelming. Yes, the graphics and sounds are absolutely gorgeous and the details that are put into this game is very in depth, but thats where the problem starts.

From what I remember there is an update every 1-2 months with a cycle of 2 banners in between. With the amount of work that has to go into making the game as perfect as it is, we are drip fed content at a snails pace and somewhat forced to play if you don't want to miss out on content.

Then theres the gacha aspect of the game which is extremely shallow. You get like 3 banners at a time, with only 2 of them changing and a "pity system", which c'mon gacha games don't need that. Hate me if I'm wrong but recieving some of the best equipment by pulling from sheer luck is more rewarding than having the system do it for me. On the same note I absolutely hate how MiHoYo messes with people using primogems and actually one of the reasons i quit. Making people scavenge for codes when we already have a mailbox and doing what they did with that lantern event didn't sit well with me and shows how stingy they are. I'm not saying that I want this game to be free to play, in fact I would've payed triple a prices for a complete game and they could've made characters dlc's or what not, but it wants to make extra money by having it free to download.

In conclusion, Genshin Impact lost it's potential after the hype was over in 1.1 and I saw how shallow the game really is. Grinding to get drip fed a few primogems daily is not a worthwhile investment of my time and due to all the reasons above, I cannot support MiHoYo or Genshin Impact.

Good passive gacha game, just becomes repetitive and annoying after a while so it's been collecting dust. :/

Objectively one of the better mobild rhythm games I played. Fairly simple and stylish UI, great selection of songs, colorful cast of characters that break off from the typical school idol (especially a fan of vivid bad squad), and this was the first rhythm game I played that finally let you play with 0 stamina since sometimes I want to actually play for fun.

World of Tanks Blitz MMO

4.3

By far the best mobile tank game. Historically accurate tanks and some pretty challenging gameplay (tier vi-x battles mostly). Though it also faces problems such as pay to win and complete noobs.

Taiko No Tatsujin+

3.0

pretty much taiko ported to mobile, but instead of the ability to permanently purchase songs you need to pay a subscription to unlock all songs >:(
the free song choice isnt the best to say the least and if you have a long phone, such as a note 8, 9, good luck if you have small fingers

No Way To Die: Survival

2.8

a rebranded last day on earth with admittly better features, the music goes a little intense when you fight enemies, areas to unlock by leveling up, and a simpler way to acquire parts. that being said, the movement is slow and laggy and overall the game is missing any type of drive to keep you playing, especially since it becomes annoying to level up.
