Just like a few other people have said already, I hopped aboard the JPN version of A3 after the unfortunate ending of A3 EN just as I was getting into the franchise (that sure has been happening a lot lately...) .
My review for this A3 is the same as the EN version except for the obvious language barrier (thank goodness for hard-working translators) and the fact that this version has more mini-games. Good music, fun plot, neat-o characters. I will give Sakuya and Citron all of my holiday presents. 100/10
When I first heard about A3, it was on a list of "suggested titles for you" list on the Play Store because of Revue Starlight's game (I guess because theatre-themed in nature?) and wasn't sure what to make of it at first. On one hand, there isn't so much "gameplay" but everything else is pretty good! The plot is good, the characters are great, and the English translation is a treat to read. Unfortunately, the English version had its final update back in late October, ceasing activity. For new people curious about this game, I say give it a shot, this is coming from someone who isn't usually into "for girls" games. Maybe check out the anime too! As for me, I'll probably make a JPN account so I can keep playing. Sakuya and Citron deserve all the love in the world 100/10.
It really does suck that this game is going under. While, yes we know it's "like Bandori, etc", there's still entertainment to enjoy. Live Show has 3 different ways to view (2D cart art, 3D, and music video - "MV"), nice characters, and pretty good cards and tunes.
*Unfortunately*, and I'm glad but also sad to hear that other people had downloading issues and random crashes. It took forever for me to finally get this game running, BUT now the game crashes at random times.
I assume that, maybe, Nanaon runs better on a strong wi-fi but...that was such a pain.
Again, it sucks the game is going, especially since I like 22/7, and hopefully curious fans will still give this a shot before it goes.
I think I've been playing this game for 5 years now and while yes I suffer when it comes to the gacha (never got a birthday Mari from her UR box ...) I still hold a special place in my heart for this game, especially since this was my introduction to the LL franchise
I'm sad to admit that I found this game far too late... It's such a shame that, yes, you can say it reminds you of "so and so", but I can tell that this game had potential. Fun music, a nice cast/seiyuu, and a cat. Nothing is better than cats. I still think checking out this game is worth it. After all, it's in offline mode. Might as well take advantage of that!
