gameplay is not something special, the transition effects/animation like "level complete" and skills animation are annoying, like you see flash and letter jumping in 3000 times.
the character design is good (even though they could be from some random twitter artist)
also 2 stars (?) is shown as "okay" here
cool game and interesting graphics, although the ui looks a bit dated and feel a bit... janky?
some of the musics have that weird 2006 phone audio? sounds like its recorded on another speaker with lod recoding device.
Idle and semi afk arena gameplay so it might not be the type for you
storyline basically non existent and you just happen to be exist in that world or you are "gathering" bunch of random characters
value? one of the highest SSR rate i've ever seen, a bit sus but ok for now i guess...

pls disregard this rating, i was a little bit angry at these kind of situations but oh well what can you do, so i made a proper rating and pls don't scroll past below the conclusion part
graphics are really great and detailed, also a bit much of a glow, and i like the modern, clean and sleek ui
sound is great but not remarkable tho
gameplay is your standard idle, and you can be super pro player with manual skilling, or be a potato couch and let it auto (or pressing quick clear (?) button)
about the storyline, from what i've heard, is pretty enjoyable and interesting, spoiler: it has a kind of a dark twist/setting/backstory you'd expect from games publised by yostar. basylically, the premise is all of the school clubs (factions?) fight each other and all of them are based on different ideology/religion. And you just landed yourself into a kind of bankrupt almost dissolved kind of school clubs (your typical mc in a almost bankrupt organization)
value: ehhh, it's safe to say it's a bit similar from priconne, pull count resets on rotating banners, gives you elephs (or milleage points) to get your favorite character's shard to upgrade or unlock them, you can pull gachas with pyroxenes, which is pretty hard to grind unless you do pvp, event or the money pot, Raids shadow legen-
it's a pretty fun game i'd say but ehh, it's just your another kind of ordinary priconne gameplay but you are in future instead, also, just put your relationship to "big booties" not small grils, cause they might be special bodybuilder agents in disguise that capture you the moment you touch them. Also the reason you cannot be able to play this because either your country put a taxed regulation that made some game publishers afraid or they hate "sensitive content" or "super anime" games. So it's not really nexons fault, but you can't change a country's rule so what can you do about it.

DoDonpachi Unlimited
1.8watered down of real thing (ddp sadaioujou, get it on 360 (terrible), exa (fking expensive and you have to play on their proprietary cabinet), arcade PCB (ultra rare and expensive), or unofficial MAME (original dev hates this))
Graphics: A bit blurry but still okay for most part, the sprites and characters design are nice, its mostly copied over from the original game.
Sound: Music is still the same, the voice acting of the final boss... lets just say its not that great.
Gameplay: You can choose the difficulty, theres 7 difficulties, Easy, Medium, Hard, Maniacs, God, Red and Black. Only differences being the patterns and scores, however, the patterns are multiplied by the coumt of bullets rather than changing the pattern itself, Black difficulty don't let you use bomb, a questionable descision since bombing plays a big part in cave games. And there are no hyper in this game, basically it buffs your bullet damage, increase hit count for combo, which again doesn't exists in this port, cancels enemies's bullet but it makes enemies bullet faster, removing several staple mechanics from the series is a bad idea. Apparently, after normal you have to pay gems to play it, and you have to pay creds to play the latter stages. Theres a percentage on the left, the mechanics apparently rely on how much enemies you killed but it just seems to random and doesnt show accurately. The game only have 3 different stages (stage 1, 2 and 6 in the original game) and theres a mixed ones or a boss only version of the stages. You unlocks the true final boss by defeating the final boss without dying.
Story: Theres one in the original version but not in this port (if you call it that). Basically, elemental dolls are created to be a war machine, then one get another way of thinking and decided to take over the facility, and you have to go neutralize it, thats what i can tell from my memory. The game itself is kind of a retcon or alternate version that is much different from original (see ddp Daioujou).
Value: Can grind credits but cant grind gems, has to buy (which you can't since the servers are dead) and it is used to unlocks harder difficulties, buy some specific upgrades, new ships and pilots, which is bullcrap.
All in all, a mediocre game, but probably the worst one in the Dodonpachi series by the series's standard. This port doesn't do the justice for the original one. There are other dodonpachi games on phone but most of them are unplayable unless you find the archive, this one have but the other might not have it, searched on the web and there are nothing.
You can go play the original series on an emulator or consoles instead. If you want to play Cave STGs on android, i suggest Touhou Gensou Eclipse (thats a bit funny considering the rival of fanbases) or Gomaotsu.
