What in Hell is Bad?

2.0

Way too many bugs and mistakes!
The game crashes often and has problems often. The stages don't load properly, the characters stop healing or fighting, inventory issues, the story is FILLED with mistakes and weird choices. There's a lot of spelling mistakes and the whole game seems to be translated either with a broken AI or a person who does not know how to speak english well.

The option to be male is a joke. The story is written from a female MC's perspective and even if you choose to be a male MC, in the story they continue to talk about your p•ssy and breasts.
Gacha rates are tough but if you grind, they're (so far) manageable. The game tries to get you to pay at any moment possible. There's more options for paid packages than there are cards in the game.
The art is gorgeous, which is the only positive to this. The cards and skills are beautifully drawn.
Saying that, I was caught off guard with the intimacy rooms where you can squeeze their stomachs or legs to make them nut and have to sit there with a PNG of their cum on your screen. Sometimes the game freezes at that point so you sit there in silence rethinking your life decisions.

A major down side is they don't have auto for gameplay, so if you want to grind, you have to do the stages each time, which one stage can take up to 10minutes. It's timed, so even if you have strong cards which kill the enemy instantly, you have to wait until the AI timer throws you another enemy.
Getting items to level up characters and level up their skills takes a long time and it's very tedious.

TLDR; game has bad translation and bugs out a lot, not worth playing until they fix it.

Wind Boys!

4.4

I love the characters! Taking Wind instruments and putting them together with bishie boys was a great idea!

My favorite is the oshi corkboard thing they have. You can collect cards, mini's, stamps, stickers, various backgrounds, accessories and so and make little shrines for your favorite characters! It's a bonus reward for getting cards and stories, along with getting outfits for the mini characters to wear in levels you complete.

The gameplay is simple. You have levels (shows/performances) which you have to use cards with that you collect and level up, and the higher points you get with those cards, the better the rewards. It doesn't require much attention, it has a sort of auto system for finishing the shows and getting items that allow you to do more shows is very easy.
The cards are gorgeous and I love the outfits so much! Grinding for the gacha is a bit tough though. I recommend grinding events and then leveling up cards to recieve their stories.

The characters are a bit wacky. There's a character that does chainsaw ice sculpture art, onii-chan complex™, dude who got so sad that the school was planning to close down he stood in the middle of their hall and blew his instrument so intensely that even the head master was like yknow what? let kids blow into trumpets and horns for a bit longer. men with anxiety complexes worst than I have and furries.

I recommend this game for people with not that much time on their hand who still want to play a game thats fun, with pretty boys and wind instrument music as a bonus!

A3! | English

5.0

This game brought me so much joy and I'm really thankful they gave us an english version.
I absolutely love the stories and this quickly became my comfort game. The characters are all loveable and the cards are great, getting them is a 50/50, you either get it on the first try or not even on your 50th.. it's very rewarding getting any card because it unlocks stories that lets you get to know the characters more and gives you gems.
The songs are awesome, 10/10 logging into the game and being greeted by banri singing 'Get up you motherf*cker'😂
I'm heartbroken that the english version is being shut down. Thank you for translating this game and for it being so great!

This game has brought me so much joy over the year that I played it. The characters are memorable and lovable and make you keep on playing the game.

The gameplay was pleasant and easygoing, after you beat the level you could put it on auto-battle which helped grind for items needed in regards to other stuff.
The music was nice and the introduction page changed depending on who your main boy was (they would say the name of the game, company, a welcome-...) which I thought was great, I got used to hearing louis introducing the game for me every morning as my routine 🤧

Theres also an sns account in the game you as a manager have, where you can see posts from the characters! Depending on how you manage the cards, youll get rewarded by backstories of the cards and the account posts which are funny and I really enjoyed reading!
The cards are gorgeous or some meme-able. The only problem I had with the game was that getting good cards was hard, the gatcha rates were low and I could pull 5x a 10scout and get at the most one ssr... and grinding for gems wasn't the easiest either, so it hurt twice as much to scout and not get anything.

still... even with that I got a few good cards and I kept playing for the characters, who are so worth every minute.

Thank you After Life and I hope we meet again ☺

Promise of Wizard

4.2

The character design is gorgeous, all of the boys (and girls) are lovable.
The story is great and I reccomend even translating small talk that the characters say while giving them food, in short stories and so.
My personal favorite is owen and I laugh at everything he says which makes me more immersed in the game.
as for the gameplay itself... as other reviews say, I have to admit it is boring. The only thing that motivated me to go through a lot of the lands was to get items for other stuff and to have all clothes for the chibi of your choice.
Overall hope they add something or change the main gameplay up to make it more enjoyable.
The cards are absolutely gorgeous and every single one could be hung up as tapestry. Amen.

I adore the music so much! This game has some of the best songs that have come out of newer games these past three years. The gameplay is simple, some songs you have to memorize in order to get a full combo to carry on but its enjoyable.
The characters are great (team mizuki here, I have a love-hate relationship to him, he's such a little sht) and the dialog is funny.
The gacha is more luck based, I myself either had great luck and scouted once and got the card I wanted or didnt get it on even the 15th scout...
Overall a really enjoyable game!

Overall, the game needs a redesign.
The 3D models are, when compared to other Idolm@ster games, poorly done.
The stages during lives are never changing and bland and the dance choreography is bad, making the mv's not enjoyable. The one tap system makes the beatmaps even worst and I can't stress enough how many times I was frustrated by the game announcing I missed a beat because it didn't register my swipe.
The songs are good though, some are really catchy and I really enjoy them.
The gacha rates are ok, but I do wish they had a wider range of card rarities...
Navigating and understanding the game is pretty easy so for new players there shouldn't be any problems, but I kind of doubt they would get any enjoyment out of this...
I love the characters and stories and I'm sad that they got such a crappy game!

they could spit in my face and Id say thank you

10/10 hope they release cards that will make me go back to church

After the big new update the game is enjoyable, the beatmaps are good and the songs are amazing. They could have done more animations for the songs and done a better job with the main screen though. The sensitivity with the beatmap is a bit off, trying to get a full combo is a nightmare when the game doesnt react to touches and gives you misses or too soons. The cards are gorgeous and worth the grind though
