Until Genshin becomes a full-on MMO, it really shouldn't be compared 1 : 1 with ToF... As an example, combat and skills for ToF are designed with PvP in mind as well, so of course it won't feel as smooth as in Genshin where mobs get thrown around like a potato salad. (Do I even need to mention Venti?)

I enjoy both games, and they have their own good points. I hope for ToF to be given a chance to flourish on its own as a separate -- albeit similar -- genre, instead of being compared and judged as a copy. Genshin had this kind of treatment with Breath of the Wild, and they're both good games. Let ToF grow and just enjoy whichever one(s) you like. There is no need for bitter competitiveness and hostility.

I've only gotten through about 30 - 40% of the story, and ruins, as most of my time has gone towards random exploration and party play. So far, I do wish the story was better, although some of the side-quests were really enjoyable though, like the one with the Hyena sea outposts. It really gave me a new outlook on them even from just the small bits of dialogue and idle chatter.

Overall, there's still a lot for me to play and explore. To everyone, whether you prefer Genshin or are even new to games, I hope you can give ToF a try as well. You can go explore and feel the world. It is a happy experience, and I'm excited to stick around and see what else ToF can bring in the future. (っ・ω・)っ
