Torn between rating 3 or 4 for the gameplay. Went with 3 mainly because it's going to be hard to keep up with the timing of the chats unless you read a walkthrough and set an alarm, or buy all the chats for the day. Because of this, replay value is lessened if you're a busy person. On the upside, gameplay is unique because of the timed calls and chats. Most of the messenger type otome is 'play at your own pace'. Mystic Messenger is definitely not like that. Story is nice though. Some characters you get more attached to, but they're all likeable.

5.0This is a very good otome and card collecting/gacha. But be mindful of your purchases, it's very easy to spend here. The thing I like about this game is it doesn't take too much of your time unless you really want to. The resources are just enough. Some cards have better art than others, but not to the point that there's a huge difference. Also, the interactive visits are nice. The stories are engaging. Plus points on Big Data Lab which allows you to delve more into the references. One thing I don't like about the game is the video calls, the 3D version of the characters just feels off to me.
