Garbage app with Garbage devs. What a surprise! Been using Discord for nearly 10 years or so.

Graphics: The app doesn't look bad. But they continuously change the layout and move things around in ways that boggle the mind. Programmed by actual idiots, you can never find yourself comfortable for too long. But, luckily, they ARE rolling out ways to customize the UI.

Sound: Audio has been having issues for a while. It's probably the best it'll ever be at the current moment - the android exclusive issue with bluetooth headphones is gone I think?

Gameplay: A chat app. It's hard to navigate the obsird amount of emojis that come with joining multiple servers, but that likely isn't Discord's fault. It gets the job done.

Value: Garbage. I miss AOL and Skype.

Pikmin Bloom

3.8

Graphics: The overworld environment is cheaper than cheap, but it may be to keep the game running smooth. That's not the focus. The pikmin textures are quite nice and the designs of the limited time run pikmin are silly and fun! Pleasantly surprised after the experience of pikmin 4.

Sound: It has original tunes, but they're nothing special. At least it's something to listen to when out on a walk.

Gameplay: I know what they're aiming for. There are glitches and hangups and slow menu processing sometimes, which takes away from time if you're doing something like walking a dog. Not a big problem - it gets me out of the house. Some of the missions are a bit mean towards beginners

Value: I like this game because pikmin is one of my favorite Nintendo IPs. This game gets me out the house or makes me excited to do stupid things like go to the store. I work from home so I don't get out much, but any opportunity to get steps in or encounter things on the app became more exciting. I like the game, and it's a keeper for me.

I think I've been playing for a few months.

Pokémon Sleep

2.8

Visually appealing, definitely look up the soundtrack sometime! Reuses graphics from the main game but with a kind of Flash-type of filter on it to seem almost hand-animated rather than 3d.

The gameplay is just a sleep tracker with parts to make it something to pay attention to when not asleep. No real story (some nonsense about sleep studying researchers)...

But if you have a SO, family, or even pets that share the bed, that becomes the biggest issue. The Always On part of the game is hardly a problem as it has a power saving mode it tells you how to activate before your first session - takes about 17% of battery life for me over 5 hours total, without using a charger so it's rather impressive.

But, again, god forbid you also sleep like a rock or don't have a hilariously soggy mattress that caves in with body weight. You'll be panelized for certain sleep styles and you have a maximum of 2 recorded sleep sessions a day. (forget rewards, you have to PAY to record your sleep sessions accurately) Catching Pokemon, raising them, etc is very slow and likely is due to the nature of the game. It's full of many "sleep tips" that even reference the fact that we are born long-sleepers or nap-takers, yet the game itself couldnt care less. Even rubs salt in your wounds by attenpting to grade you at the end of the week by the quality of your sleep. Would recommend if you live alone with no pets and don't take breaks or naps. Ever.

Game is slow as molasses, so if you like the slowest text setting on a Pokemon game and tapping your screen to get stuff to move along, this is the game for you.
