QooApp You have failed, this is not the name I chose. Things like this are why Hong Kong fell. Because of your spinelessness, you will follow them.

Don't play the international version. The Korean version is a better value overall. If you are a whale, you lose in the international version. If you farm, you have to work twice as hard on the international version. It's just not worth the frustration or time. I will keep saying this till proven wrong as I have sunk a significant amount of money seeing if there is a difference. I like the game, but the international version feels like a FujiGumi scam.
While the story is intresting enough to drag you along like a lying girlfriend who is great at sex.... the real life cost per digital item value is terrible. Though there are many ways to recieve in game items which are required to progress in the storyline; there is clearly a paywall. Also within the paywall system, there are specific characters that can only be recieved through the paywall system. Though if you pay, alot, you will receive the character. If you prefer to grind, you are not guaranteed to get special characters, but you will get close.
While this is vastly better than the global offerings; the gacha will drain you everytime. There is even a gacha for paid offerings... which seems like a more exclusive way to drain your money. I would be less skeptical if I wasn't taken advantage of by Fuji Gumi's other offerings; and outright raped by Gumi's global gacha offerings on all of their platforms. Other than my critical opinion of their gacha system, there is suprisingly alot to do. Even when old event cycle around; it makes the nostalgic player want to catch the missing Alchemist shard/soul before the event runs out. Some events, though for beginners, offer some good gear or souls. Not the best tier souls, but decent nonetheless. And each soul has an intresting story or relational tie in. All in all I like the game; but I will not play it for long stretches because of the gacha. On the global version, I try not to play it at all.
Its a hot mess of great static pinup artworks and dubious gacha rolls for freemiums. Even when you spend real currency, expect to be fleced. The story continues to grow and is interconnected with Fugi Gumi other worlds. Which drives a real money demand for nostalgia. This game is deceptively simple, endlessly interesting in combat formations. And slants heavily towards vetran players who have been at it daily for over 4 years... as they have the only shot in hell to recieve fremium offerings from impossibly hard bosses. Play, have fun, appreciate the gruave art, and appreciation the drops that FG decides to schlep to you paid or otherwise. But never ever ever expect the gacha to give you what you want. Its a gacha. Its rules change to keep you hooked.
Edit: And then there are the company schills that tell you that you the player suck and the game is flawless(see the follow up comments if they leave them afterwards). I am a fan myself, hence why I still play after 4 years on both english(when it was running) and language of origin. So be forewarned: leaving an honest opinioned review will get you trolled. Often.

The story is good. The cost of playing is bad. The rates are doubled in the international version. This basically means you pay twice as much in action points or recieve half of the standard reward you would normally get in the Korean version. Even with ticket runs you pay twice as much for half the benefit. I firmly believe the game has potential, but will fall apart once the larger community figures out how they are being duped. Especially the whales.
On a seperate note, the cash items in the game are functionally worthless. Money for Gems translates to money for the slot machine they call a gacha. The principle it operates from is exactally like a slot machine with a minor to justifiable win in begining draws to painful and languishing draws several hundred dollars into the game. Several. Hundred. Dollars. Odds are better at being attacked by live zombies in a library than actually recieving event rated items. Unless you just started playing. The same principle seems to apply in the Korean version as well. To supplement this, the developers offer item upgrades that allow you to grow your mech. In later patches it's anticipated that you can build mechs you don't own by sacrificing other mechs, including rare S3 variants. Considering that most rare S3s don't normally drop on any map and there are some very specific ones if you want to build a brand model.... you have to go back to...you guessed it, the gacha slot machine. And this is how the game will die. The game will be stuck with a very tiny fan base that is recieving nothing while buring their hard earned cash at "maybe I'll get the mech this time" while the larger fanbase leaves out of sheer frustration of being robbed at the gacha.
