first thanks the publisher is yostar and not other notortious companies like *cough* nexon *cough*. anyway lets begin with my (kinda) short review.
this game is a mix between like Princess Connect Re:Dive and T̶o̶m̶ ̶C̶l̶a̶n̶c̶y̶'̶s̶ ̶E̶l̶i̶t̶e̶ ̶S̶q̶u̶a̶d̶ Gun Girl Café. A simple auto battle where you just have to tap on 1 of 4 skills of your units but it has more depth and strategy in it
for example each unit has an affinity for different terrains (city, outdoor and indoor) which boost their stats increasing them by 50%, no effect at all or decreasing them by 50%. their is also a cover mechanic where units with a shield icon next to their weapon automatically searching covers by themselve to decrease enemy damage.
the stages are divided into main- and sub chapters where you have to beat the sub chapters first to unlock the next chapter. the main chapters are played into a hexagon tiled map calling down your team(s) moving one tile at a turn and clearing the map by defeating all enemy units. great thing is all stages are skippable for lighting farming materials and equipments for beating the map with an S rank without tickets or whatsoever as long you have energy.
units and enemies are having weakness and resist from defense- and attack types, for example units with light armor defense type are weak against explosion attack types but strong against penetration attack types. units are usually enchance and equipped as usual, leveling them up with report like items, enhaching and evolving weapons ans equipments with materials and limit breaking with dupe shards by buying them with goddess shards (sounds familiar to you, right?).
the only downside is that game is frying my phone battery fast and even gets hot so i have to tone down the graphic. so far at all a great game and side gacha game with a lot of loveable and well designed waifus to collect and loving them all. i haven't played so far yet but i keep playing it and i am excited for more updates and events in the future.
oh and by the way yostar please make a global version in the future too!
wow just wow! this game is literally the Super smash bros. of Shonen Jump. it has every shonen jump series ranging from mainstream ones to old school ones.all of your favorite character even my favorite character bobobo is in the game and f*** me even the school romance comedy manga ichigo 100% is in this game too. The game is F2p this means you can get 5 star characters by playing their event banner. extremely simple to play all you have to do is just pop the colored bubbles, activating support characters skills, calling help or playing your legendary as a trump card if the situation gets sticky. the gameplay and whole mechanic reminds me a lot of crash fever. i also had two big turn off from this game. first personally for me is the chibi wobble head design which looks kinda weird and applying on some characters ugly fot me and the interface which making you ask if it made from 2009. second if you want to bind your account the game forcing you to use Line messenger, as not everyone is using it, so no Twitter and Facebook binding.
overall great game with a appealing huge roster of jump characters with a lot of f2p content. if you are a big fan of shonen animes/mangas and like easy to play anime game i can highly recommend it to you ![[微笑]](/cdn/img/transparent.png){kind=spacer}
Note: I am still a Lv. 46 player in this game. so what i am telling in this review is from latest experience in this game.
Final Gear is a 2D side scrolling shooting game where you adorable waifus controlling mechas and fighting waves of enemies. The setting takes places in a post-apocalyptic world where 3 nations fighting in war. You the captain from a faction called "Black Arc", a group of mercenaries from various factions, must save the world from further conflict.
The game has mechanics which are seems familiar from other popular gacha games. For example an Arknights base like mechanics called "Base Car" is a huge armored vehicle which produces materials and resources for your pilots or for other example the Azur Lane like battle system where you create a group of 4 pilots and fight in a side scrolling way with movement freedom. But what mechanic which stands out and unique is the building system. Create and mix & match a mech out of different parts reminds me of the Custom Robo and the Danball Senki franchise. You want to slicing your enemies into two pieces with a huge buzzsaw? Sure. You want a big gatling gun to mow down them into atomic pieces? Sure. You want a mech which levitating from the ground? Sure.
Another things which also stands out from other gacha games is there no stamina/energy system. There are many various mission types, from standard mission to resources farming mission to time limited missions which giving you a big bunch of EXP. Of course there are also story missions.
But how does the battle system exactly works? You will greeted with a map first where you have to call down 2 (or 3 in special cases) teams and commanding them to do the mission. Missions comes in 4 types. Defend, Escort, Assault and Command. To control your teams, tap on of them and draw a line on the map where they should go or which enemy group they should fight. An auto mode is also there which is more like a planning mode similiar to GFL.
How does the gacha in this game works? The game have two types of gacha. The pilot gacha and the mech parts gacha. The pilots can be aquired either from recruiting and pulling from banners by paying it with crystals. the mech parts gacha is where you have to spend part cores and gold. One of them is a random oucome and the other is a specific outcome where you have to use a "blueprint" for extra. Pilots and mech parts als well comes in different rarity, green (lowest)->blue->purple-> orange (highest).
Pilots can be strengthen with EXP chips, also comes in 4 different colors, boosting their stats and star rating with pilot cards, enhancing their skills with skill chips and for further improvement with talent stones. Some of the pilots are having a so called "unique armor" which consist of a certain set of mech parts. With the complete set and with the dedicated pilot as well, you can transform the mech into a unique shape which boosting their combat power more and giving them an very short animation cutscene when they are using their skill.
I really like this game, it has cute waifus, cool & interesting mechas with building freedom, gyroscoped (don't really know what it is called when you tilt your phone and the background starts to move along )and Live2D animation feature and a unique gameplay of RTS and side scrolling shooting.
Can i recommend this game to you? If you like Azur Lane ,Girls Frontline and Arknights, a waifu collector and a mecha fan like me, i can absolutely recommend it to you.
Basically a slay the spire waifu gacha game.beautiful graphic and fairly easy to understand. each character has fixed set of cards plus 4 another. cards types are attack, defend and support. characters can be enchance and geared to boost their stats. also cards are enhanceable and can be limit breaked with dupes to increase their effect. gacha system contains characters and cards. at least for me i didn't need a vpn, just register an netease account with email adress, password and mobile phone number and you are good to go. i can recommned it to you who are fans of turn based roguelite and cards games. also don't forget takijg screenshot and let google translate help you if you don't undertand something in the game. have fun
no doubt it is the best gacha game ever. easy to play, a lot of content, hold up for a long decade and 90% accurate gacha drop. if you want to translate a word which you don't understand google translate will drop you the translated version you want. and the best, you dont have to spend a single in game currency or real money for the translation
