So far, the game looks great!! I love the layout for the game play section, and the 3d models look really good!! Im always excited to find more actual rhythm games since they're my favorite app games to play, so I was excited to see this was another one. ![[開心]](/cdn/img/transparent.png){kind=spacer}
I haven't experienced any lag so far either. So far so good!
Overall, I really enjoy this game! I like how they let you customize your main character at the beginning and I actually really like the idea that combat is multiplayer. It really makes you feel like you're a magical girl fighting enemies with other magical girls! Sometimes it'll even start out as single-mode combat until another player encounters the enemy you're fighting with, which is unique, personally.
However, I HAVE experienced some minor lag and instances where my character will suddenly get stuck and disappear from the screen if I encounter an enemy at the same time a battle ends, which means I have to close the app and go back in which is a little frustrating but I can only hope that everything will be ironed out in the days to come!
Overall it's a pretty decent game, not perfect but not bad either. But I love magical girl stuff so I'll probably hold onto this lmao

I'm so surprised this app has such a low score on here, I adore it SO much! PMMM is one of my absolute favorites and I think this app really nails it while adding something new. I mean, I love gacha games so maybe it's just me. But the combat and everything is very easy to figure out, even if you dont know any japanese (like me rn haha). I'm excited for the anime!

I had left a review before for smash tap and decided to update it for smash rising: I like this way more than tap and I feel I'm probably the only one that does lmao
Tap felt very... lacking, tbh. It was too hard to collect hero souls to get anything new and everything about it just felt so bare, I got bored with it often and uninstalled/installed it off and on. But Rising feels like they're giving it that push that was kind of missing from Tap.
Now, Rising is FAR from perfect, as it definitely has some kinks it needs to improve on (like the character animations, for example. Some of them are just..... so.... ugly LOL) but compared to Tap it feels easier to figure out and get used to, and the layout and everything feels really fresh and appealing!
I am sad that the battles are automated now tho, not sure why they made that change but on the other hand I also kind of like it? eh /shrugs

4.4Reading a ton of the reviews and having no idea why so many are negative. I guess because I didn't have any specific expectation going in, I ended up actually greatly enjoying this so far. Yeah the gameplay is very simple, but it does get me to be quick on my toes still without being overly complicated and I enjoy that.
The graphics are gorgeous tbh, I always loved Crash Fever's look and things that portrayed these spaces similar to it (ie Summer Wars and Digimon). Don't really get the people saying it's ugly? Personal preference I guess.
The game just came out, so I expect a lot more characters to be added eventually too, for those who are for some reason dismayed over fewer male characters. It's really not a big deal though. If you look beyond that, a lot of the character designs are really well made and I appreciate seeing them all from an artistic standpoint.
No, it doesn't do anything super new or groundbreaking, but it's definitely kept my attention better than most other app games I've tried playing. Give it a shot for yourself to decide.
