A fun and entertaining game with ship waifus for all tastes, while the gameplay is not complicated (akin to a bullet hell shooter), you need to build your fleet around your shipgirls strengths and their skills to succeed in high difficulty and high level stages, there's depth to it beyond getting to max level and facetanking content, although the game also has an auto-play feature if you just wanna plow thru dailies or farming. What's really nice to it is that there's no need to heavily put money into gacha to get the stuff you want, playing diligently will let you to accumulate mental cubes for special crafting banners without having to blow your wallet on it, equipment can be farmed, and costumes are sold up front in the store without lootboxes or any other annoying rng mechanism, characters can be upgraded with their own dupes or a special "Bulin" shipgirl, so you're not required to craft dupes of that single unique character you just got, all of this makes the game very f2p friendly.
On top of that many events are re-run and added to the archives so if you missed any exclusive shipgirls you can wait and get them in due time.

Honkai Impact 3rd | Japanese

There was a time I used to say "mobile gaming is not gaming", then Houkai3rd happened, granted, I play this primarily on emulator and then use my phone to send commissions or other trivial tasks.
This game is the absolute best when it comes to waifu action/collection/fighting games, I started playing because I saw a random video on youtube of someone starting to play 1-1 with Kiana and tough to myself "hey that combat looks like Bayonetta but with anime waifus... should give it a try", and here I am today enjoyin every minute of it 2 years later.

PS: Mei true ultimete waifu

I'll do quick good/bad list
Good:
- Character designs are nice and details are ok
- Combat animations looks cool overall
- The combat system is similar to our ever present measure-bar game Houkai3rd, but it has an original twist to it
Bad:
- Sounds FX are dull, most of the time you hear character voices, the hits of your normal attacks, and everything else is lost as background noise, monsters attacks and roars are really faint
- It would seem that sound files are too compressed, the everything sounds frequency downsampled, could use more polishing
- A 2019 action game and being locked to 30fps <_<
- During battle, there's no way of tagging out another unless your platoon skill is available
- Waifus are pretty but there's almost no interaction with them, only time you hear their voices is during combat
I'll keep watch over this one (currently doing guide missions for Wolf Shaman), hopefully it'll be polished and turns out good
