Crynchyroll didn't learn from last time and are testing AI subs, again.
From my experience, AI translations are generally worse than human translated one's. At their worst it's no different from google translate (A.K.A. useless) and at their best, slightly worse compared to human translations (and that's with chatgpt 4 with custom scripts).
They of course claim it's to speed up releases but we all know it's cuz their just plain greedy. Once they set it up and stop getting as many complaints about quality, they'll just fire all the translators and rely on mtl. Professional translators have been underpaid since forever, and now their about to become unemployed just so the soulless Funimation execs can get their bonuses. Read Note
