Qooapp is unable to do anything as the apk here became a split-apk after the update. Whether the game runs is entirely dependant on whether your device can support split-apk. This is the info I've got after contacting Qooapp CS.
I've used the method below to connect to Japan Play Store without creating a Japanese Google Play account and successfully re-updated the app.
Also managed to transfer my account back.
(This works only if you have issued a transfer passcode in the first place).
Hope this can be helpful to those who cannot enter Japan Play Store to update the app.
