4.0It's an awesome game don't get it wrong, I love the game and initially sought out this version because I can't read Japanese but seeing the Japanese version and how watered down/neutered the English version is really upsets me because some subtitles don't match the voices/what's being said (example with Crowley clearly saying gingerbread and stuff but the subtitles being completely off in the 4th Book). Some of the stuff that really annoys me is removal/lack of certain cards (Like Skully, Overblots even certain Grim cards), changing names of characters when it makes no sense (Fellow Honest to Ernesto Foulworth) and changing some attire of characters like Sam's suit not having the skeletal marking on it... There's also the lack of the solo study function in the Japanese version, which makes the game quite a grind... It's okay if you want just the story but even then I think it might be beneficial to get the Japanese version and either translate or follow along with stuff after you've run through the story in this once in English to see the differences from the original (It just sucks cause all they needed to do was just have accurate subtitles for the English version whilst keeping the original stuff from the Japanese version and it'd be perfect...).
