pixiv

pixiv

5.0

Pixiv is a great app for browsing art and discovering new artists. I guess beyond illustrations there's also a huge collection of manga and user-written novels, so that's really cool. There's always something new to explore

There are premium features yes, like advanced search filters, popularity sorting and all that. It just makes finding specific artwork harder for free users like me

But that said, I don't really mind just using the free version. I still stumble across amazing artists naturally. And discovering new works through recommendations and tags is part of the fun for me lol

Call of Duty®: Mobile - Garena | Traditional Chinese

I love CODM. I uninstall it every now and then because I run out of space or think I won't play it anymore, but whenever I come back, it still feels just as good as I remember

It's easily one of the smoothest and most enjoyable mobile shooters I've played. There's always room to improve. There are plenty of sweats, that's kind of a given, but I honestly enjoy that competitive challenge. Climbing ranked is just fun

The game definitely leans heavily into gacha but I rarely engage with that side of it so it doesn't really affect my experience

Pokémon Champions

Pokémon Champions

4.2

It's fun, though the story is close to non-existent. It's Pokemon Showdown but official

Nekopara Sekai Connect

I love it overall, especially the cute, easy-to-follow story and stunning Live2D art that makes my favorite nekos adorable!! The rest though?

The gacha system is solid and fun, but the gameplay needs more polish. HONESTLY. The load times are painfully long (sometimes up to 2 minutes between stages), which gets frustrating even when playing on EN2 without a VPN

I really hope the devs optimize it soon so I can enjoy my girls without the downtime

Warframe Companion

Warframe Companion

5.0

Everything you need is right here. You can check Warframe news, your equipment, the foundry (which even sends notifications when things finish building), and the basic codex. All in-game activities are visible and update in real time!

I just wish they added some lore-related stuff. That's about it

Honkai: Star Rail | Global

My expectations were high since this is a game from HoYo, and it definitely surpasses them! The characters and stories are written so well that you can really immerse yourself as the Trailblazer. The NPC side quests dont feel like something you can just skip. They add depth and make the world feel alive! I love diving into lore in every game I play, and HSR definitely doesnt fall short. There are so many memorable NPCs I've grown to like just as much as the playable characters

The game offers tons of minigames and activities, and your interactions truly matter. The main character is very involved and present in the story, which makes all of the intense moments hit harder because you know you really made choices with meaningful consequences

As for the gacha system, I dont mind it since it's to be expected. It's not harsh, but it's also not as generous as games like Cookie Run. For a free-to-play player like me, it strikes a good balance!

I was super excited to try the game, but I can't get past the loading screen...

Morimens

Morimens

5.0

Morimens is great and calm. The plot is engaging, and I like how we feel relevant and active in the story. The tutorial is easy to follow and the game's terminology isn't so complicated (plus, definitions for cards are just a long press away)

The opening video is beautiful, and the graphics are really dystopian!! It's such a nice unique style. Auto-play unlocks around 1–10

Morimens is very beginner-friendly too! It gave me many free 10 pulls when I created my account and even allowed me to pick my own gold rarity. I do wish the English translations had more depth.. I want to enjoy the story in richer detail, but the current version is good enough

So far I'm really enjoying the game and will stay to see future updates!!

Ragnarok V : Returns

Ragnarok V : Returns

2.0

Ragnarok V Returns doesn't feel like a typical Ragnarok game. My issues started the moment I logged in. After making my avatar I was dropped into Prontera with the entire screen covered by titles and UI elements. For a first-time player, it was overwhelming. There was no cutscene, no arrow guide, nothing to direct me. Just clutter. I only found the quest bar on the side after looking around, and it didn't even stand out because of everything else on the screen

The camera also feels choppy and awkward to adjust. The story is okay, but nothing memorable or surprising. Maybe it just isn't the version for me

HoYoLAB

HoYoLAB

5.0

It's a great place to check in and see what the community is doing, but I mainly use HoyoLAB for event info and guides for the games I play

You don't have to treat it like a full community forum if you don't want to. If someone makes the space unpleasant, you can just block them and keep your feed comfortable. Focus on what you enjoy

ROBLOX

ROBLOX

4.3

Roblox is amazing and has been my go-to game with my little sister. That said, I wish more could be done about players who use violent or inappropriate language in chat. Even if I toggle the sidebar chat off, the chat bubbles still pop up above their characters, and some messages slip through without getting hashtagged. Younger players shouldn't have to see that

It would help a lot if there were a setting to hide chat bubbles from strangers entirely. Maybe make them visible only to friends or trusted players

There are also a lot of questionable games that still haven't been taken down despite constant complaints. I found them through my sister, which disturbs me more. It's best to avoid them, but it would be much better if the devs listened, removed those games, and banned creators who keep making that kind of content (especially the "apartment" games with suggestive animations)

Welcome to My Home | English

The game begins with a cozy cottage and simple farming. Nothing you haven't seen before: wheat, early crops, and cows come early, while other animals unlock later. Customization is accessible from the start through gems and 100k coins, and beginner rewards make saving up easy

Home design is flexible: you start with basic wooden and straw furniture, but you can grow into vintage, retro, or more stylized interiors. Character skins and matching furniture share the same gacha banner

There's also a small player economy. You can buy items other players list, and the request board lets you earn money by baking or crafting furniture

The main issue is the crafting UI. Everything sits in one long scrollable line. For me it's inconvenient when I only want to craft materials

Music sets the mood well, but choosing tracks would be a welcome option!!

BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! | Japanese

I love how each band has its own identity and the character episodes dive into that appeal without feeling much like filler

Gacha is standard for me, nothing wild, and you can play just fine without chasing every banner. Good music (there's plenty of cover songs!!) and steady updates. I guess the pace can feel demanding if you try to keep up with every ranking period

But overall, bandori is lovable and easy to stick with!

Chaos Zero Nightmare

Chaos Zero Nightmare

5.0

The game opens with a really beautiful start. Right after setting your DOB, they show a cinematic tribute that sets the stage of the game's story. Gave me goosebumps

The current narrative is rich and detailed, all voicelines are filled with personality, and the fanservice is handled just right

Though currently the MC is locked in as a guy. Kinda wish there was a girl option too, just to give players a bit more choice

I also want to note how much I love the monster designs and the backgrounds! At first I feared they might be stitched together by AI like some recent games, but I was mistaken

It's very promising!! I look forward to more updates

Meow Star Acres2

Meow Star Acres2

4.8

The patchwork theme is so cute and homey. You can customize each cat that work with you individually using tickets from the gacha system

The overall aesthetic is consistent, and the minigames for collecting materials are cute and add variety to the gameplay. My only wish is for more songs since the same one repeats throughout

The game's perspective can also shift between 2.5D and 3D depending on how much you zoom in or out

Cookie Run: OvenBreak

The UI confused me the first time I played. Everything felt everywhere, and I was overwhelmed. I've grown used to it in like a week

It's fun and something I can play without that much commitment

Cookie Run: Kingdom | Global

I've been playing for a few years now and I have no complaints so far. It's about as generous as a game can get. What keeps me invested is the storyline. I wish there were more depth given to Golden Cheese Cookie and Dark Cacao Cookie in the BY content

The gameplay becomes quite repetitive once the main stories are completed. Still tho, kingdom design is simple and calming. The guild battles are also fun and balanced

CookieRun: Tower of Adventures

The story is very fun and cute, as expected of Cookie Run games. They delve more into the villains lore in more recent updates, which is very nice. The RNG is tough
